Finally was able to attach application .....put a space in place of birth and left the information for passport blank ......it worked .....thanks everyone discussing all the issues and solutions here .....Eligibility shows in progress .....rest not started ....interviews not needed at this time ;D ;D

Hi djsum, thank you so much for sharing this update, I was a little worried on how this would work. Do you need to do anything special, or you just mail it to CPC-Ottawa with a return envelope ?
Please let me know once you receive it back. And congrats once again, really happy for you.

Don't worry!. It's written in the PPR letter the instructions to be followed when sending the passport to Ottawa.Once the passport is received back with stamped visa, flagpoling can be done.
Will surely update once we get the passport stamped with visa.Wish a speedy processing for u too

We had applied for TRV in June and by God's grace were lucky to get it.Received PPR for PR today.
Don't worry.. u guys will be receiving PPRs soon too

Question: Did you guys first see updates on the eCas or myCIC account or you directly got the email?
What was the order? (myCIC first, eCas second and Email third?).

Just curious because my wife who is in India, never received AOR2 through email or snail-mail. We wanted to keep close eye on this now as our application date is in April 2016, and only I got SA in early June. Her side on eCas shows the processing started in June. Have any of you heard of any one not receiving AOR2 at all?

Glad to see some April/March 2016 applicants got PPR. Happy for you.

We received the email for PPR directly. After receiving the email, we checked for the eCas status and it was "Decision Made".The only change we noticed this week was that the Background check in MyCIC changed to "In Process" on Tuesday.The status in MyCIC even now is "In Process" only.

My wife is in India and we did not applied for TRV before. The PPR is for PR application.
