Conditional PR is a measure to cut down on fraudulent sponsorship wherein a person gets sponsored, comes to Canada and immediately divorce each other but get to keep the PR. It is applied to all sponsored people and the sponsor (India too). Conditional PR means the sponsor and applicant have to stay together for 2 years after obtaining conditional PR and the applicant lands in Canada. Else the PR gets revoked and the sponsor would be liable for amounts incurred by the government for processing the application. Google for "Information for Sponsored Spouses or Partners" and the CIC website will pop-up with the infomay4ank said:Hello Guys.
