It's 17 months according to cic website. But u should keep ur fingers crossed. Ndvo is processing March files as well so may files aren't that far. U should hear something in 2 months time.

By the way once one Year is completed can we do both the Inquiries ASAP right
The GCMS notes nd the MP inquiry ?

Hi everyone, so my husband did his re-medical on January 30th 2016. The waiting games continues.... ::)

Also, I know we keep wondering about timelines and why some people get it faster than others etc.. I completely agree with what others members have said about the straight-forwardness of a case etc.. But I was looking at the NDVO 2015 spreadsheet and I feel most members are going by the Application Filed/Recd date and the important date is the date it was recd at NDVO .. so you may be a Feb 23 applicant but if your file reached NDVO on May 25 then you and a March 10 applicant whose file was also recd around May 25 have similar timeline.

This may be a silly realization but I had a AHA moment and thought it might help/assure someone if they are like me and worrying why some people from the same date as theirs is not getting any update.. And also help some others to determine if they need to apply for GCMS notes.

Have a great weekend everyone and wishing good news to all ;D

Feb 12 applicant. Remedical done on 19th Dec. No update yet :-\ :-\

Hello, I think most people are hearing about DM/PPR 2 weeks to 1.5 months from remedical submission. And since you did your remedical in december, CIC didnt work many days in the last week ..So try not to worry too much.. and if you dont hear anything in next 2 weeks then apply for notes :)

Hi, you can do both inquiries at any point in your application but it would make more sense to do it depending on the general trend observed as per the members closer to your application date .. And i am positive the 17 months is from the time the application reaches NDVO and does not include the sponsor approval period.

That being said, if I am looking at the correct info for you on the spreadsheet then the medical expires in Aug 2016, so you would not have a re-medical request and should hear something by mid to end of march.. But thats just an educated guess ::)

Hello Everyone,

I am getting married May 2016 and my Fiance holds a PR visa. Can anyone suggest me a good consultant in Bangalore who is experienced in Spousal Visa. The ones I visited were not at all updated with the latest rules.

I am intending to apply as Inland Applicant from Canada as I will be eligible for OWP. I know people suggest to apply as Outland but the long processing time of 18 months is making us think about Inland as an option.

Can anyone please give suggestions/views on the above

Thanks

Hi Roseakhil,

Do you already have a TRV or intend to get one before marriage ? Or are you planning on getting a TRV then coming here and then applying for Inland/Outland?

Because, You can only apply for Inland if you are living in Canada with your spouse. And then I would think a consultant in Canada would be more beneficial than one in Bangalore. Also by the Inland route - the spouse does get a OWP but only after the Stage 1 is passed (used to take 8-9 months in 2015 - not sure how long it is now) whereas the Outland route - you are more likely to get your PR faster. This is just my opinion

However, you can also check out the following links which were useful to be before and while I was preparing for my spouse's sponsorship documents. I did not go via any consultant and did our paperwork by myself with the help of this wonderful forum

Hi Sulhan_k,

I am not sure if there is an email where you can contact them for update (maybe some other member can answer that) But some people did get their DM/PPR after 2 months... so maybe you can apply for notes or do a MP enquiry.. looks like the time from re-med to DM/PPR depends on travel history and the complicated/uncomplicated nature of the case..

Hope this helps .. But dont worry.. you are almost near your end .. so be positive :)

Feb 9 Applicant here and STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ABOUT RE-MEDICALS >:(

Is anyone else still in the same position? When on earth will we hear back from them. This wait is just too much to a point that every time I think of the year I missed out on spending time with my spouse, the wedding anniversary, the quality moments, is it all worth it...i'm just getting emotional now...I am honestly just at wits end... :'(
Same here I'm February 11 applicant and still waiting for remed request :(
