I would suggest to apply for notes first, notes give u a fair idea about where is your file placed. MP enquiry should be done in severe circumstances..... that is my opinion anyways.Khan2001 said:By the way once one Year is completed can we do both the Inquiries ASAP right
The GCMS notes nd the MP inquiry ?

I'm january 9/15 applicant... done re medical on dec 5/15........no update.... still IN PROCESS :-\ :-\ :-\ ................. is it ok to send email to NDVO and ask for update? or apply for MP enquiry??
Really hard time for me and my wife.......... :-\ :-\
Thanks
hiAH2512 said:Hi, you can do both inquiries at any point in your application but it would make more sense to do it depending on the general trend observed as per the members closer to your application date .. And i am positive the 17 months is from the time the application reaches NDVO and does not include the sponsor approval period.
That being said, if I am looking at the correct info for you on the spreadsheet then the medical expires in Aug 2016, so you would not have a re-medical request and should hear something by mid to end of march.. But thats just an educated guess :
i think that's a good observation.......in some cases where it takes more time for sponsor assessment that should add to the waiting time.right........well i hope and pray that we all get the visa and be with our loved ones soon....AH2512 said:Hi everyone, so my husband did his re-medical on January 30th 2016. The waiting games continues.... :
Also, I know we keep wondering about timelines and why some people get it faster than others etc.. I completely agree with what others members have said about the straight-forwardness of a case etc.. But I was looking at the NDVO 2015 spreadsheet and I feel most members are going by the Application Filed/Recd date and the important date is the date it was recd at NDVO .. so you may be a Feb 23 applicant but if your file reached NDVO on May 25 then you and a March 10 applicant whose file was also recd around May 25 have similar timeline.
This may be a silly realization but I had a AHA moment and thought it might help/assure someone if they are like me and worrying why some people from the same date as theirs is not getting any update.. And also help some others to determine if they need to apply for GCMS notes.
Have a great weekend everyone and wishing good news to all ;D
I did check that.. but I thought since we applied in 2015 and the timeline at that point was sponsor approval + wait time as per VO then that would apply to us. But if that is not the case then its awesomepreetgill said:hi
its 17 months including the 62 days for assessment of sponsor, so it should it from when CIC receives the application......... You can check the following:

guess you got lucky, in have read of cases where MP's werent as receptive.... we are also planning to get it done as my panel physician messed up a little bit at the time of re - med. so i am little scared.....hopefully all will be well........AH2512 said:I do believe you are right preetgill.. It is better to apply for notes first.. but either ways no point applying for them prematurely either.. I think we are all going to be very good in the skill set of 'patient and understanding' lol!!!
On the side note, I did do an MP enquiry (Jan 26) and they were very receptive and got back to me within 24hours and informed me nothing has been started on our file. I was quite disappointed but then my husband got his re-medical on 28.. (it most likely is a coincidence)..
Yes, from other people's experiences I feel grateful that atleast the MP experience was a good one. Most people are getting their DM's 3 weeks after remeds so hopefully you hear something next weekpreetgill said:guess you got lucky, in have read of cases where MP's werent as receptive.... we are also planning to get it done as my panel physician messed up a little bit at the time of re - med. so i am little scared.....hopefully all will be well........
