Can anyone tell me Since when they count months
My application was received on 6th May so they count from there or they count from when they started processing it. That is 5th June.

Hello Everyone

My spouse just missed a call from +911141385800 , can anyone please confirm if this could be from NVDO? I checked their website this number doesn't match their main number(+91 11 4178 2000), I just want to confirm with you kind folks if anybody recognise this number or can they call from any other number other than their main number? God forbid if this number belongs to NVDO then all I can do is laugh at my fate. :D :o

Hey don't worry it's not NDVO'S number. It's a spam number of airtel, a lot of people using true caller has blocked it. And I don't think NDVO people could have called today. Its Saturday, non - working day for them. Keep your fingers crossed and u will hear from them soon.......

All the best.......☺

I don't think they count months dear, if u r asking in reference to the time period on the cic website. Then it is including sponsorship approval. So in your case, it will be from 6th may.

Is there any May Applicant plz stay in touch

Hello Everyone,

I am getting married May 2016 and my Fiance holds a PR visa. Can anyone suggest me a good consultant in Bangalore who is experienced in Spousal Visa. The ones I visited were not at all updated with the latest rules.

I am intending to apply as Inland Applicant from Canada as I will be eligible for OWP. I know people suggest to apply as Outland but the long processing time of 18 months is making us think about Inland as an option.

Can anyone please give suggestions/views on the above

Thanks

You can change the address but in my opinion you shouldn't.
Reasons:
1. In all probability you'll receive an email for PPR so mailing address can be left unchanged.
2. If they do send you a letter for PPR instead (highly unlikely) then it will take it almost a month to reach Canada and your 30 days period to submit the passport might already be over. However if they send it to your Chandigarh address then it will be delivered in 5-6 days max and your or her parents or whoever family members reside there can collect it on her behalf and inform you of it. They can then courier you the original letter and you'll receive the private courier in 3-4 days.

You should inform NDVO that your spouse is in Canada on TRV but if the address can be left unchanged then it should be.

I could be wrong about this so I'll recommend you to call the CIC helpline and check with them if the address can be left unchanged.

What is considered the best way to inform NDVO without impacting other things?

it is ahmedabad
