If you are the sponsor you will get the SA email. It takes a week or so.

It has been a week since decision has made for sponsorship approval but I didn't receive SA. Is this normal? Is there anyone else in the form who didn't receive SA. what should I do now? Please advise...

Received AOR2 from New Delhi on July 3, 2015. Now the wait starts!!

Thanks

The best will be to call cic helpline number they will let you knew when they posted the letter( also about decision depends on call center agent ) and also check your spam folder may the email would have gone there

We did not get AOR2 from NDVO. I have checked the SPAM folder too. No regular post either.

Got SA on June 25, 2015.

Is there anyway I can check ECAS without AOR2? Or any other suggestions?

regards,

AOR2 takes two weeks and up and you are still in the range. You should be able to see the status of the application with the sponsor's UCI - did you try that?

I understand it takes time however, people who just got SA on July 6, already got AOR2 on July 13 from NDVO.
People who have similar timelines to mine such as SA on June 25 also got AOR2.

And originally I forgot to pay RPRF fees and need to pay that. So waiting for AOR2. Or you can tell me after I pay RPRF fees where do I send the receipt? (I will do it without AOR2)

It really depends case to case - most people get it in two weeks but we have seen cases getting it after a month or two so I wouldn't be worried since if you have got SA you can be assured that the file has been transferred.
I suggest you wait till you get your AOR2 to send the RPRF since it will give the applicant the UCI number thus making it easier to connect the file also it will clearly say in the AOR2 if you havent paid send it here etc.

Don't worry bro, my timeline also same like you, I did not AOR 2 still now

Thanks for the words of wisdom. I will try another half month of patience.
After that I will send a request for GCMS notes. That way I can know for sure.

I have a Question? Lets say, if the spouse is on the vising visa in Canada while her sponsorship is in progress in New Delhi,

is she gonna get ready for visa email from New Delhi, or she can submit her pssport to Ottawa as she is in Canada?

From what I have gathered from the forums:
Once you get passport request from New Delhi, it will have instructions and she can submit her passport to Ottawa.

Hey,

They haven't started processing her file - they have approved you as a sponsor and the file has been transferred to New Delhi and thats it. The Delhi office is working on files received on Aug/Sept 2014 and you file was just transferred July 5th 2015 you will have to wait another 8-9 months before you hear anything about the her PR. The visa visa processing is about 15 days and if she is eligible she will get it..

Yes you can apply for PR and visit visa simultaneously

Hi draxz1289!

Do you receive any updates?

Coz i am also October 7th 2014 Applicant and my medical got expired on June and do not received Remedical request or any other updates :(

Hi Blr and Waiting for My Turn,

Thanks for your replies.

After so many days of waiting, my husband contacted the MP at Canada and got to know that we are supposed to re-apply for the PR. As they have lost our file somewhere.

We got to know today and we are gathering the documents for the same.

I cant believe that the government works so badly at Canada.
