Hi Vicky2Patel, I would suggest to hold onto information regarding plane ticket, places visited, photos etc with you and provide if and when asked for by Delhi office. I have mentioned this before in previous posts if you're proactively sending them this type of information it can become an issue in the visa officer's mind why is this person trying to prove so hard that their relationship is genuine- so catch 22. Order notes it will let you know by now or soon if interview has been waived.

Regards,
Aman
I guess just wait and watch so just waiting game going on here . Despite whatever my lawyer said i had exact thought in my mind.

Thanks Aman and well said.

If you don't mind me asking... Your timeline shows your application was received in October end. What was the reason for receiving AOR in February? (Christmas holidays?)

Yes unfortunately we were delayed by the holidays in Dec. When we applied the SA time was about 89 days

You have to wait for another 5-6 months to get into in process as nvdo is currently working on Sep 2014 files .I knew it's frustrating but that's what current trends shows

I have a question. My application was recieved on may 25 ,2015 and i have already got the email for cic (AOR1) . i am hoping by end of july or starting august it will be transfered to Delhi . So our plan is that i am going to india in October and i am staying there until my husband gets visa. So i want to ask that is it ok if stay in india for long time . will it affect my husband's file?

Hi guys,

I am applying Outland PR for my wife and also a visitor visa, The consultant we have hired in Delhi is saying that when we are done with the application, we will send the PR application to the Canadian High Commission who will give us a receipt, that receipt will be sent to me in Canada and I will mail it to Mississauga. Also upon getting that receipt we will then submit the visitor visa application right away with a copy of that receipt.

I am very nervous because everyone I have known who went through the process has submitted the application to Mississauga directly.

Also, is it ok to apply for visitor visa at this time? Is it advised to apply for it before or after or at the same time as PR?

You wont go in progress until another 6-8 months given that they are processing applications from Sept 2014 and you are a April 2015 application

Are you a PR or a citizen because a PR cannot be outside the country and a citizen can
As you might be aware a PR should be in the country to submit the application and while its in progress. You can take short holidays up to 4 weeks and any thing over is not recommended..

First of all from what you had said its all wrong. YOU or your hired representative will have to send the APPLICATION directly to the Mississauga and not some receipt. All forms, documents from you and your spouse will have to be sent here and after you are approved as a sponsor the file will be transferred to Delhi and thats it. Visit visa can be submitted any time and is not related to the PR and its receipt.

Seems like you and your consultant are confused on the steps and are making a mistake.

i am a PR but i will be visiting after the file reach in india and i have got a leave of absence from ny job . i still will be employed in canada.

I am April 29, 2015 applicant and I would like to know the approximate timeline when I will get PR.

Looking into the New Delhi 2014 applicants thread, I understand they are currently working on September 2014 applicants.

Can I assume I will get it around February 2016??

Or do you guys think it will be delayed further due to vacation in December? :( (Christmas\New Year Vacation) Is there a chance NDVO will pick up speed?? :(

P.S. I would like to know this info to accordingly plan for my job resignation and serving notice period.

There isnt an official rule on how long you can stay outside the country but its accepted that a short visit in line with the Canadian avg holiday is accepted which is from 2-4 weeks. A long visit is considered that the person has move temporarily or permanently which as a PR you cannot do since you have to be in the country while the file is being processed.

Yes you are right they are working on Sept applications and looks like they are picking up the speed since July 1st.

Since you file was transferred on July 6th, take 8-9 months from that since that is the average for a clear cut file and 16 months for other files including interview recommended.
The holiday time period shouldnt affect the NDVO as much as here since they are usually just off for couple of days for Christmas and New Years combined.
