. March 27th it was transferred....
 
What's the waiting period between receiving SA and getting an AOR2? How long is the waiting time at this stage for applications to be processed at the New Delhi office?

Hello!!I applied in mid june 2014 and it has been now 10 months and i have heard nothing from CHC in New Delhi , I'm worried. does anyone know how long it takes to them to ask my wife's passport it is like taking for ever :( .. and I also want to know if she passes the interview and gets approved how long does it take for them to issue her a visa ?? I will really appreciate if anyone can answer my question :)

It takes minimum 58 days from the day they receive your application form to get acknowledgement (AOR) and another 48 hours for Sponsorship Approval (SA)

File Number (Application number) will be given only after transferring the application package to New Delhi Visa office (NDVO), which will happen within one week of SA.

You haven't received anything? Not even sponsorship approval? I was starting to get worried as well if they received my application and other people are getting AOR2s. I called CIC and confirmed with that they have indeed received my application but they didn't update the file on ecas. Everyone is waiting for their turn to go under in process.
 
I wanna know, how long is ndvo gonna take to reach to jan applications?

My situation is that i applied to sponsor my wife in Nov 2014 and got sponsor evaluation done in Feb 2015, the status now on the CIC website is Medical records received. Do you know or can give me an idea what the next step would be and a rough timeline based on peoples experiences here.

Your wife should receive AoR2 which basically a email from NDVO saying that they received your file. Usually this take a month to get Aor2
