True! I have seen many on this fourm.
Liberal got in 25,000 refugee in 2.5 months. My MP's assistant who was a newbie to office literally told me that they cant do anything as I applied during conservative govt.
Please ask your wife's friend if they can provide their details to MP office. Since their processing has finished they wont be impacted in any way.
If they agree I can send more details of my MP office.

What about interview recommended applicants? For interview recommendation applicants waiting time is 20-22 months, and thier are many 2014 interview recommended applicants on this forum who were put on interviews without any reasonable red flag, without any solid reason, many have submitted sufficient proofs, photos, chats, phone bills.... But new Delhi canada embassy visa officers DT care about that. Fraud applicants still getting visas. And genuine applicants like me getting screwed without any reason. Waiting time for 2014 applicants is 14-15 months and for 2014 interview recommended applicants 20-22 months?!? And NDVO processing 2015 applicants in just 11-12 months. 2015 applicants getting visa and 2014 applicants getting screwed, many applicants on this forum are interview recommended. (mostly male principal applicants) what the hell!!!

email them saying you have passed processing time of 17 months. Do MP inquiry.

Your orignal medicals have been expired by more than 15 months ,therefore you got a complete remedical request .Be rest assured ,it's a good sign for you as it's considered as final stage of your application ,before they will.issue you PPR.

It's excellent that you got interview waiver.Did you send additional documents (marriage photos, travel photos etc) on NDVO request or you sent voluntarily.

God bless you and everyone! !!!!!

Hi.. I did post my experience on the day of interview but maybe you missed it.. So here it is.. The red flag in our application could be that my husband had already been to canada on a study permit and he had to come back in between due to some family problems so he could not go back and complete his studies.. This is the only red flag i could think of... Other than that you can check the interview experience.. The interviewer didnt ask him too many questions but she just looked at each and every proof.. She was only trying to figure out that the marriage is genuine... And looking at current trend for 2014 applicants they are scheduling interview for August right now i guess and you can get your date by june or july if they work at the fast pace.. And just keep all the proofs ready and make sure you have a lot of pics together to show them for different occasions ...

Interview went well and application approved. The interviewer was a Canadian lady and the interview lasted for 2 hours.. I was eagerly waiting for their call here in Canada but they didnt call me.. She asked him few details about me, dob, job, salary, address, phone number,hobbies... She took the whole 2 hours by just looking at the proofs.. My husband took 4 big albums of our marriage and some small albums.. She actually went through each and every picture and each and every proof thoroughly... At the end she said that she is satisfied that our marriage is genuine and she sent us the remedical request right away and said that we will get the passport request within 10 days after they receive the medicals.. Cant describe the feeling right now .. I would suggest everyone to carry a lot of proofs and photos with you to the interview.. Wish everyone all the very best for your applications and interviews.. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Good Luck..

i think currently they are scheduling August applicants for interview so it's going to be couple months until they reach December dear. Hang in there.
i'm waiting myself. (Sep applicant)

if you guys see in 2015 applicant, multiple people who applied in Feb2015 have finished the interview.
I think we are the most unlucky one. We have worst of both govts.
Make an inquiry with your MP asking why 2015 applicants are given priority over 2014 applicants.
Even one with interview recommended 2015 applicant are given over 2014 applicants. This is not fair by any standards.
There are only few 2014 applicant left. So you need to help yourself.

Almost identical timelines and status. No remedical and applied for notes recently. According to the forum, they will take 30 calendar days for note.
