Same here i just recieved my notes it says interview is required and booked for two slot interview

Is it normal to have the status change to DM with no additional line added?

wow, This year Resolution for NDVO--let`s increasing processing time from 16 to 17 to 19 to 26....wtf?

Processing time for outside of Canada application has gone up now . But not specific to Visa office.

So they averaged out the time for all nations ?

This is what they are saying:
Why are there differences in processing times among regions and offices?

Visa offices face different challenges operating in different countries and regions, and even in different offices within the same region. Various factors can affect the time it takes to process applications, including:

the number of applications received;
the resources at an office;
the length of time an applicant takes to respond to requests for information;
the need for medical and security screening; and
differences in mail service.
Was this answer useful?
Yes

Hello people

My husband submitted his re-medical request on Dec 15th 2015 to NDVO

Approximately how much time does it normally take after the remedicals are submitted?

Also, he has applied as a resident of USA but is going to be in India for 2 months, do you recommend changing the address to the Indian address?

Please help
Thanks

What is your timeline. It really depends on what stage your file is and what month application you are. It usually takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 or more months after re-medicals. Could he wait till he gets his PR and then go to India because if you are close if better to wait.

If you have already got remed, I think its better approach to MP support letter and apply for visitor visa.
I think because visa office would have most likely reviewed your application once, you will most likey get visitor visa. Its bit expensive but you dont have to wait for those stupid checks and reviews to complete.
You are right.Thanks a lot for your response.

I think its definitely a good thing to contact the MP if the applicant knows everything has been approved and still waiting or something is wrong but I would totally agree applicants should not just initiate an MP inquiry while being routinely processed as we have been so many replies coming back saying they are now not responding the MP inquiry.

Thanks Draxz for your response on this.+1 for you.

processing time is back to 18 months now..

lets stay positive guys... people who are waiting for PPR after remeds we hope to see PPRs by next week..
