Hello Love4Life,

Thank you for your note.

I got my GCMS notes yesterday. It say "Recommend Interview" with due date Feb 26 2016.

Also I noticed lot of notes written by officer under Interview Recommend - "How and where couple met, couple met via biological aunt in Canada, then age gap between couple, dates exactly when they met to until marriage date". Final note is age gap is only 3 years and religious marriage and also note that relation is genuine."

Based on notes, notes is very clear from officer and if relation is genuine.

-----

You have also recommend interview, correct? did your notes also has some details similar to my details?

Thank you

Yes pretty similar. Mine too has recommend interview and few lines about our relation - where we met, culture and all that. I ordered my second notes end of nov so i'm hoping to get them by end of this month. Just want to see if they have touched my file since or not. Are you a Sep applicant?

I am surprised they mentioned age in your case which is 3 years. Its normal boys generally older 3 to 4 years to the girls in our cultures which is not considered as age gap. so what is the exact reason as per ur thoughts in ur case because of u have been put for interview

no dec 1st

hey kite,

when did you apply for GCMS notes???

No idea why they stated age gap in the file which is normal in our culture. My case is straight forward arranged marriage.

1. I ordered notes 1st time in Sep 15. Then by Oct 15th got notes (Status in ECAS updated from AR to In process) with due date Feb 26 2016.
2. Next notes ordered on Nov 15. Received notes yesterday with additional details that about marriage etc,. and Interview Recommend with same due date Feb 26 2016.

Based on the seniors forums, looks like interview letter will be issued only after 6 months, with this timeline, my PPR will be issued after 19 months and which makes so annoy. But helpless other than waiting.

Any updates draxz ?? Did you do Full meds or just Xray

Hey,

No the MP said she will do an inquiry but since we are still in the 17 months there is nothing to worry.. agh.. but she said she will ask if the re-meds have been received.
My wife just did the Xray not sure why the delay is since as per the previous notes interview was waved.. The only think I can think of is she had two passports and the first medicals were done on that.

heard nothing yet. 41days post re-meds done.. im waiting for GCMS notes (likely jan 6-7) but really hoping no interview. B/c age diff is 4-5years between me n wifey and way we met is not arranged technically. It was love then family was notified. and b/c it happened within 6months of meeting her, i don't know if they would hold that against me.

I am meeting MP's assistant next week..see what he can do.

Check Out the link above. Select New Delhi from drop down list and find some useful data related to spousal PR application processing time and application received at NDVO

Quite an interesting data sheet. Appreciate it.

Hey everybody!

My husband received his visa this morning!!!!!!!
This forum has been so useful throughout the whole process- thank you to everybody :) :) :) - here's wishing that everyone receives their visas super fast.

A few details about our file:
Applied: 9 Feb 2015
in process: 9 oct 2015
medicals expring on 16 Jan 2016.

We received a call on 16 Dec from NDVO asking if my husband could travel before 16 Jan.
He obviously said yes :) we've been patiently and anxiously waiting....
the person who called sent us an email immediately after, which said we need to go to the embassy the next day and get our visa stamped at on the same day(this procedure was new to us)

So this morning my husband received his visa and landing papers.

We had applied for gcms notes on 6Nov and received them on 6Dec (they said nothing had started not even eligibility)
we were very dissappointed to see that - but this shows that since GCMS notes are a month old, anything can happen!

Our online status still says IN PROCESS.

They also told my husband at the embassy that since our file was so straightforward and we provided all the proof necessary and we organised it so well they didnt see any reason to not give it so quickly. :) :) :)

we both are sooooooo happy at the moment.
I will continue to pray that everyone's files are processed fast.
Happy holidays everyone!

congratzz :):) could u please brief your case? is it arranged? age difference? and how many photos did u submit? this could help us.. Thanks in advance..

It all depends on visa officer even if everything is arranged in order and even if straight forward case.

I have seen many straight forward cases no action is taken even if notes says gunine relationship and interview waived Only to waiting for medical to expire and start all over again and do the processing adding 3 more months.

Thank you Jay.

Why they mentioned Due date in Feb 6 2016? Does it has any meaning.
Was Feb 6 2015 the date the file was received in Delhi? Typically the due date is one year from then.

Many congrats to the people who got the visas...could you please tell the time wen u guys got the call..is it in office hours. .like from 9 to 5..??
Any idea about the number initials from which u get the call...

Thanks..
