Currently June applicants are getting their interview dates. I don't want to give you false hope, but You have a wait for atleast 3-4 months. I would advise to stop thinking about this process and enjoy your time. Thinking too much is only going to add stress nothing else dear. God bless!

Thanks Fiza. we were expecting something jan 2016 as far as receiving the date goes, but i guess we will have to wait until however long they make us wait. Thanks dear, i'm trying my best to not think about it but it becomes so hard after a while, i know you know that, anyway it's great that you have finally made it to the finish line, congrats!!!! Enjoy your married life now, do everything and anything that make you guys happy! :)

Best suggestion is that spend time with your partner , pay a visit. Trust me this help make things smoother for both of you. Worrying , feeling fustrated just have an adverse effect on body so won't help much.

It's a bi.t.ch process and you know what ...gotta get through it. it goes for most of us here.

you are right vicky2patel. i went for 9 days in october so that helped a lot. and i'm going again in dec for 3 weeks. let's see how long i can do this for. can't believe they take SO LONG for genuine cases. i'm really hoping something by april 2016 but not hoping too much.

After a long wait of 13 months, I finally received my passport back with the visa yesterday.
Thank you all the forum member for always being so supportive and helping out in times of need.
If it weren't for this forum, I would've been clueless and confused, which would've made this waiting game even worse.

Thank you all. Wishing all the members good luck, happiness and togetherness with their beloved ones :) :) :)

Hey Folks,

Its so nice to see so many of you completing your long tedious process.

I have a small query, I am going to apply for PR this month.
However, i already have Travel Visa, so is it possible for me to visit my Wife in canada while my application is in process.
As it is processing time seems to be too long, staying away from her would be very difficult.

Just want to know, if somebody did that already, and if they faced any problems what so ever, while crossing Canada borders.

Thanks in advance.

No problem at all at Canadian border, just keep your return ticket, your file related documents in handy :)
