Hi All,

I have been following this forum since a long time and has really helped me through my process. I have an urgent query, would really appreciate if someone could answer me:

I am an Indian citizen but resident in the UK (My husband is the citizen of Canada and is the sponsor). My application (family sponsorship) was sent to the New Delhi visa office. Now I received the PPR email this morning but since it is a standard computer generated email so they havn't mentioned anything about residents of other countries.

What should I do? Should I sent my passport to VFS in India by post? Or in the UK?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Congratulations to all who received their PPR's :)

Hi All,

Congrats for members who got PPR.. really happy that the waiting is finally ending.. I have a quick doubt. How does the remedical reports reaches NDVO. The doctor sends it via courier/local post/email? Usually how long it takes to reach NDVO.

Usually after the medicals are over, they inform us that it will be uploaded to Canadian High Commission "upfront"

Srimathi,

Please find the reply by a forum member 'pgu' on a similar question, however its not mentioned how long it will take to reach NDVO

Does anyone know if we have to send the e-medical slip to the New Delhi office after re-medical has been completed. It says the doctor sends the e-medical but we get a e-medical slip as well. Do we also need to send that? Anyone who has got re-medical done, please help me out.

Hi, There is no need to send anything to NDVO, Doctor will send it to them.. but still if you want to send to NVDO .. use case specific enquiry page.

Thanks rosesandhu! Here's my timeline:

App. Filed.......: 19/8/2014
File Transfer to NDVO...: 24/03/2015
Started processing : 24/08/2015 (IP)
Re-medical Request: 03/09/2015
Re-medical done on: 11/09/2015
Decision Made: 30/10/2015
Passport Request: 2/11/2015

Other October applicants are receiving ppr and DM lately but we just received remedical request. Don't know why it's delayed by so much but it's good news! Been in IP for almost 3 months and medical expired for over a month. The request says remedical request for 'yourself and spouse' too. Seems like the generic wording lately?
One other thing - not sure if it's a coincidence but we just applied for notes yesterday thinking that somethings wrong since other October applications have made so much progress. Don't know if the notes triggered the remedical request or it's a coincidence.
