major factor that will delay you case is lack of proof/information submitted to NDVO. otherwise, i would say travel history does not impact that much. there are so many applicant here, including me, who are stuck on IP. most of them do not have travel history.

Looking at Ypra case, it seem like most important thing NDVO looks at it how much time applicant has spend with sponsor. More the time, quickly your file will move.

i just dont understand ..EE guys get the notifications of background checks started etc .. inspite thr process is short .. why dont we have any transparancy at all . Ecas is same for all .

Hi guys,

Can someone please help me out with how to read the notes? I ordered the GCMS notes on Sep 28 and i finally got them couple days back but no clue how to read it. is there any specific things in the notes that could tell where my file is currently? what are the main areas that i should be looking for in the notes?

My status is:
Application Received : Sep 19, 2014
Started processing your application: Nov 14, 2014 ("in process" status changed on Oct 9, 2015)

Nothing else is there.
Please help.

thank you for replying.
it says
Medical: In progress
Criminality: Not started
Security: Not started

there are comments from VO and it says **Interview Required**. and then some lines about our relationship. But what's confusing me is that the page where the VO made his comments, on the top it says Request Identifier: A-2015-20062 and Requested Date: 10/06/15
does this mean interview date is Oct 6? but we never had a letter or call for this.
Also in the same page before the comments it says Updated Date: 2015/07/14 22:19:06

i'm very confused :(

I recently order GCMS notes so i can suggest that under vo notes section ***Interview waiver recommended*** which means they waive my interview and also received Re-medical request.

If they recommended interview you gotta wait till you received the letter.

Here is a link which sort matches how to read notes from top to bottom , Super cool link man.

Best of luck. (Hang in there)

Yep and VO commented that relationship is genuine and " interview waiver recommended " so damn happy interview is waived and ofc

i also had Re-demical request two weeks ago to ice it.

Things are moving well late month and half .

Notes helps Preetiv because VO comments and all kind of handy to know where exactly your file is sitting.

I'm really starting to get impatient with these people. My wife has travel history, but we've been stuck on IP for 2.5 months now. Its nice to see others getting DM/PPR in 3 weeks, but when we've been sitting here for 11 weeks, I'm really starting to wonder if our turn is ever going to come.

I ordered our notes on Sept 30, so they should be coming sometime this week. So that will paint a clear picture of what's going on, hopefully. I wrote to our MP, and got a reply from someone in his office. The staff member assured me that he will do everything he can, but they just need a couple of weeks to get set up in Ottawa first.

Fingers crossed... :(

Hello YYC787-What does the MP staff member mean by setting up in ottawa first? Are they not set up yet?Elections are over more than a week now..I hope you hear back soon .However, the notes will help you a lot.

Well, I contacted them just after the election, so they had probably just started wrapping things up from the campaign. He told me to contact them again if I don't hear back by the second week of November.

The election results haven't been officially confirmed yet, according to http://www.parl.gc.ca (its supposed to be done by Nov 9), so the timeframe makes sense.

I should hear back next week or the week after. If not, I'll make some noise, lol. And yeah, the notes will help tremendously...if they would release them already... >:(
