Hi sunny6359 and others, I read in multiple posts that having travel history might delay processing time when compared with applicants with no travel history. When the "In Process" status had meaning to it (i.e. before Oct 9, 2015), were applications moved to "In Process" after travel history is examined and passed, or before?

Congrats ypra! Were you in Canada or changed your address on file to a Canadian address when you received PPR? Or, is NDVO is adding point#4 about mailing passport to CPP-O to all applicants? Thanks.

Hi db80,

I am India only, I never been to Canada, it is a standard format of the PPR letter, everyone gets the same.

Hi fiza,

May be it's because of re-medicals, once check the PPR time line for applicant's, who did re-medical after the interview.
fiza, I know how difficult to pass the time in this last stage, please don't upset, any way we are close to end, its a matter of few days and not more than that.

Hi All,

few friends sent personal message, asking why I got interview letter early, I guess the below reasons.
*After marriage we both lived in India for 2 years, then my spouse returned Canada and we filed the application.
*And submitted all the proofs for 2 years, like telephone bills, tours, boarding passes, photos, rental agreement.
*Submitted all the supporting documents including divorce petition.
*And my spouse is citizen of Canada since long time and never sponsored anyone prior to my App.
May be VO felt everything is fine with the file, except red flag for second marriage and age gap.

Thank you for your wishes :) , I have received PPR yesterday :D

Time line
Application Filled: Sep 30, 2014
AOR received: Nov 25, 2014
File Transferred: Dec 12, 2014
In process: Aug 26, 2015
Re-medical: Sept 7, 2015
Decision made: Oct 19, 2015
PPR: Oct 25, 2015
Landing: Nov 12, 2015

Good luck! God bless

Congratulations Naturi and Hemant09....

U can send the Sponsor's new passport copy....Although the principal applicant is most imp, as the visa gets stamped there....
Write an email to delhi immigration or upload the signed letter and passport copy thru Case Specific enquiry

Hey guys..

If I have travel history meaning I have to wait longer then usual time to get PPR from IP?

Thanks
there is no such fixed outcome of all the cases......travel history might took longer to process, it might delay ur process for couple of days but not for months.

major factor that will delay you case is lack of proof/information submitted to NDVO. otherwise, i would say travel history does not impact that much. there are so many applicant here, including me, who are stuck on IP. most of them do not have travel history.

Looking at Ypra case, it seem like most important thing NDVO looks at it how much time applicant has spend with sponsor. More the time, quickly your file will move.
