Does "in process"have a merit these days? Or is it simply an aknowledment of file being at the processing centre.

Hi Vicky, congratulations on the In-process update!
Don't worry much about the update, your wife will be receiving the exact instructions for the re medical examination soon..just make sure the emails are being checked regularly n check the junk n spam folders as well. In most cases ndvo is only requesting for a chest X-ray. I got a remed request too n it was just a chest X-ray so don't worry much. And yes, I'm also hoping the getting a remed means interview is waived off and. It's a good sign!

just lit bit relax than i would say week ago without any update and now i got bot in-process and re-medical request.

still do order notes and cost like $5 . in-process is better than not getting any update man. my status wasn`t updated for 12 months so you know how it feels.

and when they put me in-process , also requested re-medical same day.

so now you see.

1)We received your application for permanent residence on October 7, 2014.
2) We started processing your application on January 9, 2015.
3) Medical results have been received.
4) We sent you medical instructions on October 8, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

-->Today i checked my status and i saw 4th line added to my E-cas stating that i need to pay attention to my mail for some medical crap. I got in process on oct 9.2015.

--> My status is in process of course.

MY wife medical expired on june 2, 2015 so she is due for new medical so ...may be new medical stuff? kind of anxious to see what they have requested.

I need some answers from my fellow senior members if they run into any messages like that so i can prepare my wife and guide her what to do.

I am bit nervous regarding new 4th line. but any help is welcome here.

I am September 15 2014 applicant who got in process on aug.6 2015, re-meds on aug.25. its been 2 months after in process...still waiting for DM/PPR....i am so damn heartbroken with this whole process...sick of checking emails, ecase like a crazy * ! Do anyone has similar timeline??? :'( :-\

My friend, all applications that are straightforward cases (without any additional issues or requests) would take 12 to 14 months.
This is irrespective of the IP dates.
Shud happen any day for u now.

Dear .... your date of application is 25 July, 2014. When did you apply for GCMS Notes ... in which month ?? and after how many days you got your Notes ? I am 26 Nov, 2014 applicant. Our e-case status is In process since 9 Oct, 2015 and our medical will expire on 14 Oct, 2015. We want to know wether Interview 'recommended or waived' in our case. We both have first marriage, arranged marriage, both are well-educated & professionally employed and no age gap. Should we wait for 2-3 months for any update or re-medical request or Can apply for Notes in next 2 months...means in December 2015 or Jan 2016 ?

read the 4th line again. they did not e-mail me ( sponsored) or my wife (principal applicant). basically i saw the line on e-cas on saturday night. According to that line , she will receive a letter in post .

hoping that mail will provide all guidelines so she can follow up on it and send that back to NDVO on time.

I applied in sep. 2014, file in process since 16 August 2015,Our Remed is done on 28 of aug, and sent by mail. How long usually they take for passport request... Anyone plZ help...?

By mail, they ask for specific things that he/she needs to complete in a letter. they send that letter to principal applicant.
