Thanks bro, this is great information.. i guess that mean we have passed out the requirements.
But one thing i dont understand is that some of the applicants did remedical for while now, but still very few DM.

Exactly Sunny even I've the same doubt atleast they should have updated as dm

What I notice is that, if you get a re-med request then worst case scenario is you have to wait 3 months to get DM. Since they don't look at your file until the "bring-forward" date they list in your GCMS notes.

So if you send reMed after 1 day or after 3 weeks, it doesn't matter usually cuz they don't look at it for a while. Cause some people might not be able to get an appointment for 3 weeks.

congratzzz to those who go further in their processing. This waiting time kills........... I have some information to share. I called CIC on monday and asked for landing options.
Option one they said that travel to Canada for those who are outside from Canada
For thise who are already in Canada
2- flag pole canadian Border or get an appointment from CIC local offices in Toronto or any other cities to complete landing process and apply for PR card
3- which wonders me too......... The visa officer would complete landing process when they receive our passport with PPR. Send our passport and other relevant documents back to us and we could wait for PR Card. This is information from CIC call centre if it would help someone.

This is what we got from our MP inquiry

The CIC office advised that your application to sponsor your spouse is currently in good standing and the background verifications are being worked on. They have been working on stage 2 of the application since January 19, 2015 and confirmed that the processing times for stage 2 is 17 months. No action is required on your part at this time, should they require any further documentation they will contact you directly.

Guess the notes will provide more information.

about three weeks back - usually it takes only 5-10 days to get a reply but this took longer may be the MP office was busy due to the upcoming election

which means before ur re medical request you had gone for mp enquiry??

Guys,
When can you find out if interview is waived or not? I mean if I order note now would they say anything about interview even though some senior members advice to order note after you go in process.
Thanks!

Oh yes we submitted for the inquiry before the re-medical request. I had mentioned this earlier we got the re-medicals about a week after the inquiry through it could just be a coincidence

Oh wow thank u so much and +1 draxz, as 007 said and looking at your file update this means after completing all the checks that is elgiblity , first medicals, background checks (security, criminality and rfv) they once again look in for your medicals whether its valid or not.If yes they process the visa.

Else they ask you 4 re medicals.Re medicals itself says that its a decision made on the file (though they verify your re medical reports once again and then update as "decision made" in ecas) So we are through :D

Background check takes just (2 weeks to max 3 weeks) if u have not travelled outside India.

Hi Draxz1289,

Its good you got something back from that MP inquiry. If they are working on background verification then most likely you passed the eligibility, then if that's the case then you don't have to worry about interview :). I just ordered my notes yesterday. I hope they manage to finish something on my file. I just hope I don't have any interview!

Hi Beaver21,

Opinions of members on the forums differ when it comes to weather you have been scheduled for a interview. I believe if your ECAS is still AR/MR pass the average 8-9 months for in process then there's a higher probably for interview because they have to arrange for a interview date and send out interview letters. Some members state that in process is good sign, some are saying it's nothing special. Just wait till you go in process, wait 1-2 months then order notes.

Hi guys,

Quick question, we are november application and we went in process on Septmber 26th, our medical expires November 8th, my question is: is ithere a possibility for us to get lucky and get DM before the expiration of the medicals if not what we should expect? Thanks

Also, as Orchid said he/she had
IP: August 6, 2015
Remed request: August 24, 2015

Which means they haven't finished the Security/Background check when they sent the ReMed Request. There is no way that they finish the security/background in 20 days of you going In-Process (at least that's what I have observed from other members).
Usually eligibility is passed if you get In-Process (not always the case though).

regards,

I heard that earlier when the file changes to IP within few weeks it turns to DM. how it was possible then?? what i think of the process is that when they are satisfied with the furnished details in file the last step is sending the applicant re-meds( if needed). Because i haven't heard anyone getting ADR or falling in interview category after getting re-meds request. The time delay after sending the re-meds is questionable....even i wonder what these ppl do in the last step.. ::) may be the volume of files waiting for re-meds queue or they do secondary check again...dts doubtful. This is just my view, seniors probably can answer it.
