H preetiv dear,
So be ready to hear some good news soon. :)

you are absolutely correct explaining the stages of processing but I still have doubt in my mind.Remember earlier IP to DM was within a week or sometimes even on the same day,so basically background and criminality check are done before files gets into in process
But again some people said background and criminal check is done after IP that's why it's taking hell long time now,so do we interpret that the stages of processing has changed compared to before.I am still confused, coz if background and criminal is done before IP,then there are people who are stucked in IP for long for no reason. It's really confusing to understand NDVO...

Hope we all get some positive news tomorrow. :)
Hai sashee
How's you yup crossing fingers hope we all should hear some good news soon d4d's ppr is a ray of hope
Yup that's true at times ndvo don't update the e cas frequently.
In my case ip was on March 14th 2015
When we had gone 4 mp enquiery imm officer had told her that background checks are still remaining once that's done will be sending her ppr

hi...acc. to my understanding, ppl whose PCC is not expired at the time application has reached IP stage then they might be quickly changing status from IP to DM but once pcc expires they take longer time in IP...

Aikam just let me know if you hear something from them as we both share same time line
Sure

I have never heard from many that they are asking for PCC or anything like expiry date of PCC. In rare case they asked from very few persons but may be because they need any additional information regarding them not because of expiry. They certainly ask for remedicals.
What you guys have to say regarding this?

Hi guys,
I have a ques. Most people say that dont frequently check ur application status on cic website as the frequent checking may put u on their bad records. They might think u r too desperate n put u in doubtful list. Is this true? Anyone has any idea? I havent checked my application status yet.

that's what I meant...if pcc is expired and they are not asking for new pcc, then they must be internally checking for up to date info regarding ur background and security clearance...and my mp told that they themselves don't do background n security chk they get it done from 3rd party service providers...thus more time in IP if PCC is more than 1 year old.

Also as u said - "anything like expiry date of PCC" if u see gcms notes they give pcc expiry date in front of it and that date is 1 yr ahead of ori pcc date

hi guys,
joined this forum yesterday and was just just going through the spreadsheet to see if any october applicants have any updates..

gayatripandey, sunny6359, rts1986, Rozi, capri12- looks like our timelines are more or less the same. lets keep each other informed about any updates pls.

hoping tomorrow is full of happy updates from NDVO.

you can check your status as many times as you want in a day it wont put any doubt in CIC mind neither it will delay your process

GOOD LUCK

HI sufiana!

I am also October Applicant and here is my timeline:

CIC received Application on 7th OCt 2014
AOR from CIC on 29th Nov 2014
File transfer to NDVO on 5th Dec 2014
Medical expired on June and still no updates :(
hi rozi, we have almost similar timelines. even my medicals have expired and no remedical request yet nor any update. lets hope we hear something positive soon :)

Once the file gets transferred to ndvo
-You get aor
-they look out for eligibility
- they look in for medicals
-Ask for extra docs if any
-at times med and in process is done hand in hand
-Last stage is the background and criminality check
-Request for pp

In very rare cases order changes this is the standard process as far as I have seen
yeah it makes sense !! thank you :)
