Got the PPR email today for my wife. checked online and the status has changed to DM as well.

Thank you, everybody. There are a few here who went into IP around the same time as us. I am sure as people check their email, we should hear more DM later today or tomorrow.

Happened to us. has your medical already expired? In our case, we did the medical almost 5 months ahead of applying and by the time someone at NDVO touched our file, that medical had already expired. I am assuming that's why ours disappeared but it reappeared once we sent in the remed.

big congratulations to you Ammu and d4d,I am so happy for you d4d that you finally got PPR.You have been waiting for a long time and you truly deserve it.Now it's giving us some hope that very soon we too will hear something positive from NDVO,as we had totally lost hopes......Good luck

Hi Rozi,
In most of our cases,first we got IP and later we got remed request..as our Medicals had already expired.So it's better to wait and get the remed request,as we will get an IME number attached with it,it's easier for NDVO to trace it,otherwise it will delay our process even further.

Senior members please correct me if I am wrong.

@ d4d & divyanjali : I am planning to order notes immediately... I did MP enquiry in July but there was general so called answer that wait for 16 months process to be completed.
In June month's call, i don't figure that something triggered them to put it on interview because the guy simply asked my consent to travel before August 25 which i accepted in first instance, he was not seeming high ranked officer - he was speaking raw Hindi. The call which i got today, it was lady, seems to be an officer informed me that my interview will be called.
Do you guys have any idea that when my interview may be called and how much time they take after interview.

So be ready to hear some good news soon.

you are absolutely correct explaining the stages of processing but I still have doubt in my mind.Remember earlier IP to DM was within a week or sometimes even on the same day,so basically background and criminality check are done before files gets into in process
But again some people said background and criminal check is done after IP that's why it's taking hell long time now,so do we interpret that the stages of processing has changed compared to before.I am still confused,coz if background and criminal is done before IP,then there are people who are stucked in IP for long for no reason.It's really confusing to understand NDVO...

Hope we all get some positive news tomorrow.
