did u do remedical without request

Hi everyone,

If anybody is 100% sure about Remedical that we have to wait for request or we must do it with our won ? because most of the applicants said that its good if u do Remedical without request and most of the applicant said wait for Request?

IF any body is 100% sure let us no about this Remedical Issue??

I am being desperate no doubt so posting this question for the third time.. This really will help me decide whether to marry before landing or after landing

I have a few questions. I thank you for taking time out to read this

1: While sponsoring my spouse (Outland) in India, Am i allowed to go visit her in India for a stretch of 6 months?

2: After Landing and getting PR myself, I shall go back>>>marry her>> come back and sponsor her.. so in this case>>
A: Do i need to be in canada while sponsoring her
B: Can I sponsor her immediately after returning even if i DOn't have a job?

Can you please help and guide.

hi everyone.. posting here after a long time.. just want to suggest something regarding remedical from my own experience .. go for remedical on ur own if u think that it vl take 2-3 months for ur turn or interview..but in case u r expecting ur interview call soon wait for remedical request.. remedicals done in advance is of use ofcourse but only if its done 2-3 months before.. its all bcoz of my remedical that i'm waiting till today... status is in process since june 2015..but till date no passport request.. I wish speedy visa to all n especially to those who r waiting for long..bcoz there r many who r waiting unnecessarily n they really deserve justice..good luck all

I replied to the 2015 thread. DONT once again DONT marry before you land because you will have to declare your change in status and it will delay your file and if you dont declare you were married yet you land as single you can never sponsor your wife again.

1. There isnt a official time allowed to be outside the country but keep in mind a PR HAS to be in the country while processing so its recommended not to take visits over 3-4 weeks.

2) A - Yes as mentioned all PR holders have to be in the country to submit the application and have to remain in the country while processing
B - Yes you can submit the application right after you return and there isnt an income restriction BUT you will have to proof how you are going to support you and her by showing job prospects in your field, the courses you plan to take which will eventually get you a job or even your family members willing to support you both while you get settled.

Hello people,
Can anyone please advise on this. My wife's PCC was issued on April 25th and as per the CIC Guidelines it must not be older than 3 months. Although Indian PCC are Valid for 6 months. I will be applying for Spouse visa in the month of August 2015. :) :)

I am sure our VO is looking for a job outside NDVO
Damn it, the bastard doesnt move, doesnt do anything. :o ??? ::) ::)

Sashee, keep ur patience my friend, ur just last step away

Go to court with your case number and apply for petition copy. Any lawyer in the court can assist you.
You need to know which court to go to.
Is it for applicant divorce petition or sponsorer divorce petition? Is you sponsorhip approved by CIC?

You are right Aqua,Just waiting patiently and hope NDVO continues its work and doesn't stop somewhere again...
Basically what's next after in process??I mean to ask what generally NDVO does....Any idea

When's the best time to apply for notes? Our application was received in march 2015 and transferred to NDVO in may.
Congrats to all the folks who got their visas.
Thanks guys!

Sashee,

Information from NDVO 2014 Spread Sheet: Our files must go through 4 phases in NDVO.

Phases: Medical, Eligibility, Security and Criminality.

Medicals are checked first since the medical reports are being sent at the same time as the application.

Then comes the eligibility, where they check the genuineness of a marriage. Once they are fully convinced, they pass the eligibility category as well after which our online status goes In Process. So basically, in In-Process ECAS status, the applications have passed only the medical and eligibility.

The files are now undergoing the security/criminality checks and the time duration for that depends on case to case for example, number of countries visited, any crimes committed blaah blaah..and these checks are done in a group. Several applications have been assigned in a group so all those applications follow each other at the same time.

Some time they give these files to an agency who does the background checks. So once, we pass the security/criminality, application files will be forwarded to the final decision-making officers and we'll get a status update as decision made (on e-cas) once they approve the files.

Re-medical request may happen in between if your medical expires before date of landing. Few are asked to submit new PCC too in between
