hi everyone, thank god for this forum..
I am planning to apply for tourist visa for my husband in India but besides all the proof to provide i have some queries..

I am October 23, 2014 sponsor..
- Will applying for TRV affect my PR application?
- If it gets rejected will it have an impact on my PR application, once it does get rejected is it ok to re-apply for a TRV?
- If during his stay in Canada he gets ADR, medical reassessment or PPR can he do them in Canada?
- I herd from some posts here does applying for a tourist visa give a positive impact on the PR application it may not expedite the process but will show the immigration officer that we attempt to meet each other since we will provide visiting details to NDVO once he is here.. is this it true?
- for plane tickets is it ok if we don't provide bcz it doesn't make sense to book if we dont have visa yet or is it necessary to have?
- do we need medical for TRV? bcz my medical expires on June 15th..

Please help!!

Hi , the answers are below:

Nope the PR isn't affected if you apply for TRV.
Nope it won't affect your PR if TR is rejected and you can apply again.
Remedical in Canada - Am not sure of this. (I did a remedical in my hometown and am currently here in Canada since a week on TRV)
Positive impact on PR - Am not sure of this.
Air tickets - Not mandatory at all. I booked my tickets only after I got the TRV !!
No medical is required for TRV.

I heard you can get some kinda of receipt from travel agent that shows that you are intending to travel if visa is issued. It is like pre-ticket copy. You can attach that copy on application. It shows your intentions. You will have to go and ask a travel agent about it.
- do we need medical for TRV? bcz my medical expires on June 15th.. do not know

Looks like your file has been transferred to New Delhi Office. You have complied with their requests ... seems like your application is moving along. As for the medical expiring, some experienced members have recommended wait for a re-medical request, you can get it done when you receive the re-medical request. The re-medical request comes with a specific IME #, once you get the re-medical done against the provided IME # your results are directly uploaded/linked to your file, resulting in faster processing. Another option is to redo Medical without the request. In this case you update the VO with your medical # and they have to manually link it to your file. Due to the manual nature of this approach this might be slower (by months :-))

Hi again. Thank you so much for your helpful reply. Ok so my file has been transferred to the Delhi Immigration Office. How much time should it take from here on? Any tentative time period? I'm losing really good time from the early years of my marriage and it's annoying. If you have any idea and can help there, I'd be grateful. No issues if you don't know much here, either. I'm just too flustered and frustrated with the time this has taken. :)

Guys please reply it's urgent. If the applicant have not got the Divorce Petition with her what will happen,?

if you are applying for trv from india and hold indian passport, you dont need a medical. Other locations may require medical.
get a travel itinerary instead of a ticket. most travel agents will give you one for free or small charge.
