Few questions:
1) Did your husband mention in the invitation letter that PR application is under process and if yes, then did he mention the UCI#? Also, Same thing in you purpose of trip?
2) Did he get the invitation letter notarized? If yes, than from where?

Though you asked YR the questions, I will chip in with my experience (YR can share his own exp.)

a) When I sponsored my wife for TRV , yes, we mentioned that PR is under process, gave them our UCI# and suggested to refer to our UCI for more information
b) I did not notarize the invitation letter. In fact scanned and emailed all the documents to my wife so that we could save on time. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Buggleboy, your help is always appreciated :).

As you said you mentioned the UCi #, now did you specifically mention your UCi and wife's UCI on the invitation letter you sent to your wife or was it just your UCI on invitation letter and your wife's UCI on her cover letter seperately ?

only my UCI# and this can retrieve my wife's file details as well. So this is what we gave.

No I am not working, first tym when we had applied for TRV it got rejected reason being there is no strong proof tat I would return back to india and there is no proper ties in India.. For tat sake we made our bank balance strong, showed tat I have a fixed deposit also, plus LIC policy ( term policy oly) not travel insurance and kept the flight ticket also to show tat in would return back

within the visa period

hi everyone, thank god for this forum..
I am planning to apply for tourist visa for my husband in India but besides all the proof to provide i have some queries..

I am October 23, 2014 sponsor..
- Will applying for TRV affect my PR application?
- If it gets rejected will it have an impact on my PR application, once it does get rejected is it ok to re-apply for a TRV?
- If during his stay in Canada he gets ADR, medical reassessment or PPR can he do them in Canada?
- I herd from some posts here does applying for a tourist visa give a positive impact on the PR application it may not expedite the process but will show the immigration officer that we attempt to meet each other since we will provide visiting details to NDVO once he is here.. is this it true?
- for plane tickets is it ok if we don't provide bcz it doesn't make sense to book if we dont have visa yet or is it necessary to have?
- do we need medical for TRV? bcz my medical expires on June 15th..

Please help!!

If the sponsored individual staying in canada has got a trv and suddenly his/her ppr comes in...what shall one do come back to india to submit his passports or one can submit in canada
And what about the landing papers and immigration and stuff that has to be done aftr coming to india ????
