Hello All,

Could someone please add me on the time line sheet.

Application received: 11th October '14
Medicals done: 14th September '14
AOR received: 12th December '14
Sponsorship Approval: 09th Jan '15

Also I see there is a Whats App group for spouse applications. Could some one please add me on that '+1-780-881-3044'.

I see alot of frustration and I'm in the same boat. Find it really unfair that we have to wait so long to be with our spouse. I really hope we all get our approvals ASAP so as to start our lives with our better halves.

I am based out of Fort McMurray, Alberta so if anyone here is around Alberta and would want to meet up or get in touch, please feel free to text me. Thanks to everyone here to keep each one of us motivated.

Hi,

You got DM in March. Can't they just send you the visa. They are wasting money and time asking for medicals again. :(
Anyways wishing you the best hope you finish your process soon. Good luck !

They cant Innosense......The validity of the visa is till the expiry of medicals....so if medicals have expired, they cant issue visa :'(

I agree. I thought NDVO delayed PPR as the medicals was valid for another month when it was DM. Just read the previous posts of PreetiInderbedi. It was lawyers mistake to have missed the PPR.

Hey guys, good news. My status just changed to decision made.

What I need help with is knowing -
A) Is there still a possibility of an interview after the status has changed to 'decision made'?
B) If no interview how long do they take before they ask for PPR?
C) I am thinking of leaving for Canada within the next 2 weeks so when PPR comes I can submit it there itself. Can any of you with experience/knowledge comment on if this is a good idea?

Oh my God alltron !! Have you been waiting since sept 15 ???
I am immensely happy for you. Congratulations :)

I think ( wish and pray ) you will get PPR today itself or within 2 days. Check your email about passport submission within Canada. There is no interview after this. I don't think there will be problem if you travel to Canada. You have to land again by flagpoling.

All the Best ! Hearty wishes :)

Congrats :). No possibility of interview after DM. PPR should be within a week, but most of them get it the same day. Keep checking your mail, even the spam folder.

Congrats buddy ;D :D

A) Is there still a possibility of an interview after the status has changed to 'decision made'? >>> Interview never happens if ur status has changed to In Process....and DM happens after IP.....So relax
B) If no interview how long do they take before they ask for PPR?...>>>>>Cud take 1 to 10 days for PPR request
C) I am thinking of leaving for Canada within the next 2 weeks so when PPR comes I can submit it there itself. Can any of you with experience/knowledge comment on if this is a good idea?.....>>>> U can always submit in Canada, but my suggestion is wait and leave in a proper way, as it is u have waited for so long, also u get a landing form which u get on ur first entry in Canada as a PR...Dis Landing form is most imp, even more than ur PR card, remember this......So in case u get ur ppt stamped from Canada, u wud still have to cross enter and exit canada to get the Landing form....Its unnecessary headache called for.....so be patient and get ur ppt from NDVO and then leave

Thanks for your replies Innosense, Aqua & Sunny cool.

@Aqua - Do you know how long they take to stamp & send back the passport after we've sent it?
