Hi buddies,

Any March applicant receive any response or interview letter. :-[ :(

Oh god still March applicants are waiting....don't know when they will start on April :( :(

Hi All,

Sorry for being late to reply or post on this forum. I got my pp back with visa on 16th April, booked the ticket for 22nd april and already landed. had a good time on our anni which was on 25th.

On landing, the officers were nice and kind. they just confirmed about the things which you should know by itself about ur life and relationship. jst whats there on your landing papers - COPR. This will be received along with the visa with passport.

nothing about money.

I wish all to get ur visas soon and get rid of the wait. tc.

Sorry if this hurts, but the current trend of the NDVO is indeed this pathetic !!

Remain positive and cheers to a quick PPR to you Lady !! :D

yes me not even in process. AR/MR.

Guys,

when applicant is flying for first time to Canada, does he/she can carry extra luggage ??? or they are allowed only 2 luggage and 1 hand bag as per airline guidelines.

I thought if someone is immigrating to other country, they are allowed to carry some extra.

Please let me know whats your thoughts on this.

Thanks,

I am a march applicant, and still watining for PPR. Was interviewed on March 2nd. and did my remedicals on march 19th. Went into IP on March 4th.
NDVO is holding our applicantion now for no reason whatsoever. This is really inappropriate.

Thanks !

Another thing, is it ok to send a scanned copy of the invitation letter to my wife or it has to be the original ?

Answers to your questions are as follows:

a) In person. Online itseems has document limitation issues while uploading and considering the mountain of paper work that is required, it's best if u apply online.

b)How long it takes: Well, I don't know what to tell you or how to react- just be patient and wait in the queue; your turn will come and it could/will take as long as it takes. After all you are going to Canada, don't you want to spend some time in VFS office and see the excitement and the way things work there? It's difficult for any one to give you an accurate timeline as to how long it takes. One day there may be a long queue and next day there may be none. So just go with the flow.

c)Use VFS. Go to VFS website and download a consent form, sign it and hand this form over to VFS without which they will not accept your application. Alternatively lookup on CHC's website and see if they accept it directly as well and if so, then it's your call. I would use VFS and that's what I suggested to my wifeeee too (to use VFS).

Hope this helps.

Hi Sunny,

As per my knowledge, No airlines allows extra luggage, it doesn't matter whether u r migrating or visiting.

I can see some people waiting from March/April/May, why is that the case?
