All those who requested GCMS notes or CAIP notes or ATIP... is it possible to track the status with the tracking number they provise?

Email also says that they will provide with another tracking number once the request is in process. How long does it take to get the new tracking number?

Thanks

I would like to know this as well.

Thanks a lot Innosense ! Another question even though it might be dumb. For organizing the forms and documents is it ok to staple everything or better to use paper clips ?

Most often asked question and popular advice given by all senior members is not to staple anything. esp forms which will be scanned for data entry.
Use paper clips , binder clips and transparent poly pocket files for organization.

Have you applied for the notes as well?

I could really need some help with a question i have and i am hoping someone could please answer it here. for my wife, when i check the ecas, it only shows A/R status and nothing else. everyone here keeps mentioning Medical received status as well. is that something that is to be expected and/or shows in ecas? are we missing something?

When I check status by clicking on application received it says
1.application received on may 22 2014
2. Medical received.

Thank you. mine only says Application received. So, there is something wrong there. I am going to call up CIC and see if i can get some answers from them.

Even when you click on application received, it says nothing else?

All i can see is the following:

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2014.

that's it!

I have applied for the notes on march 15th. still waiting on that. I guess we will know for sure if they processed the medical or not.

Hello,

What is AOR2? Is it required???

My case is like this......Application Received at CPC-M on Nov 4, 2014 (got an email about that on 20 Jan 2015).
Sponsorship Approval (SA) mail was received on 30 Jan 2015 and it says that my file is forwarded to NDVO.
Current ECAS status: Application Received on Nov 4, 2014. & Medical Results have been received.

I have not received AOR2 (should be from NDVO??) even after 70 days of SA.

Please reply

You should receive AOR2 (Acknowledgement of Receipt) email from NDVO after around 1 to 2 months. So if you haven't received the email yet then I think you should check if they received your file or not.

Currently all applicants whose files were transferred in February and March are getting AOR2 email.
I got SA on March 4, 2015 and file was transferred to NVDO. My wife received AOR2 email today morning.

I did not get AOR2 however I did email from NVDO to submit proof of payment n pcc. So I assume they have my file and AOR2 was not required. The SA letter said file is being forwarded to the concerned office which was NDVO.

Yes, the medical was done upfront and attached with the application. I just got off the phone with the call centre. they said they cant help since the application is already in NDVO but did mention that the online status should show the medical. Asked me to email NDVO to get an update. The medical has already expired, so we are planning on going for a re-medical without a notice anyways this week and will forward that to NDVO. I am going to wait a few more days till the notes arrive before contacting NDVO, incase there something else as well. In which case, i can address everything in one email.

Does the notes arrive exactly after 30 days or what is the normal time? any one who have received could maybe share their timeline on acquiring notes.
