I am may 2014 applicant medical done in nov end still not got PPR. can anyone say should i apply for GSMc notes As its too late.

My advice to applicants- remarriage cases

If they ask for Canadian petition and divorce documents.
There is no divorce petition but entered order, you can attach your communications with lawyer, between your lawyer and other lawyer , any communication proof between you and ex spouse and final signed order by you your ex your lawyer and ex lawyer and final entered order this is signed by court registry and divorce certificate. If you can notorise them all it is best or you can get them attested by Canadian high commission offices across india
Though these are not the requirements on the website but ndvo ask these type of docs

If your marriage ends on a nasty note in Canada like violence etc police rcmp orders can be submitted too to support the application

THANK GOD moment for me :)

My spouse recieved PPR through e-mail. Thanks for all your support. This thread has been extremely beneficial. I pray that all of you be united with your spouses very quickly. My application is from Afghanistan and I should've received instructions to send PP to Islamabad as all other Afghan spouse cases have. In the Afghanistan thread on this forum, one member received an e-mail asking to send PP to India and then 10 minutes later, an e-mail asking her to send her PP to Islamabad. It seems to me that the visa officer realized his mistake and corrected it immidiately. I have not yet received a correction e-mail asking to send passport to Islamabad instead. I am confused as to what I should do next. My spouse is only given 30 days to submit passport to NDVO and I am worried that if I send them an e-mail, it won't reach them on time.

The worry part is they haven't asked me anything. These documents are no where mentioned to be submitted with your application. The only document they ask for is Divorce certificate which I have send. IF you are approved as sponsor by CIC, why does NDVO care how our first marriage ended. It should be left between the partners. I highly object on any embassy poking in once personal life.

remedical oe first med??

Fiza - I agree with you. When I applied last year the application check list does not ask for Canadian citizen's/PR to submit their divorce petition. They only ask for a decree. However the person (spouse obviously) being sponsored needs to submit both - decree and petition (which we did). After sponsorship approval, my wife was asked to submit my petition too and unfortunately I did not receive any petition officially in hand because my divorce was ex-party (in absentia) and my ex-wife moved back to India for good and filed the petition in India. She sent me the petition to a Canadian address and I had moved out of this address for good and did not direct Canada Post to forward my mail.

I have explained all the above facts to NDVO and so far (another day has passed by) it's still a waiting game. Let's see how it goes.
