Did you receive any request for additional document? Did NDVO send you an email for remedical?

Yes they contacted my husband in december for a remedical and he already submitted it. I'm still waiting for a reply or update in my process.

I have a relative who applied for his wife's sponsorship in April 2014. He submitted all documents including wedding photos, etc. They asked for his wife's Passport now, also a form to fill out regarding height, eye color etc. What is the next step? Are they giving her a visa (is that why they asked for valid passport, with atleast 2 empty pages?) How long after sending her passport should she expect to receive her passport stamped with visa? Her case was being handled by New Delhi (she is in Pakistan) but passport is being sent to Islamabad.

Hi Karan,
Yes it IS jan 2014-
I didn't know that gathering documents would take time so I did the medical before I did any of the other things!
And then my wedding happened and document gathering took 5 months after that!
So my medicals were already 9 months old when I applied!
But I tried to get a new one issued before submission, but the hospital didn't allow it, they said it can only be done once it has expired.
