My Que to Legal Rep:
*********’s Medical is expiring by February 22, 2015.
I believe that New Delhi Visa Office normally contact the applicant almost a month before to know if they could travel immediately and if the response is positive from candidate then they issue visa promptly.
Else they ask for re-medical which is again a lengthy process and further delay by 2-3 months.
I am afraid to know that on such enquiry even if the call is missed or responded with anything else than positive response, it results into further delay.
Due to this fact, I want ********’s direct number to be provided so that she can respond accordingly.
Response from Legal Rep:
********* must wait for instructions from New Delhi before she can go for new medical examination. New Delhi will email us instructions in writing electronically when the time comes, the same way they forwarded us their letter of ****** acknowledging receipt of her application. We receive new medical instructions routinely via email without any problem for other spousal cases. Medical instructions will not be issued verbally by phone.
Our experience is that New Delhi will not be issuing new medical instructions until processing is near the final stage and they are satisfied that they do not need the applicant to attend a personal interview. New Delhi's processing time respecting spousal applications is approximately 15 months. *********'s application arrived at New Delhi on/about *******.
