Thank you so much Karan, I hope this becomes true!! by the way my wife got lawyer so he is our representative will he be getting the PPR email as he has been getting the other emails from visa office before such as sponsorship approval and when file was sent to delhi so same with this he will be getting ppr email or me?
Also, did this exact thing happen to anyone before ?

Yes representative will receive email and you will get call
This happens to so many people
I know even my relatives with whom this happened
And also many many people in internet
You can google this "CHC called to fly before medical expire"
If you would had miss this that call means
Around 4-5 months more waiting time
Because of additional document request queues and re-medical request queues.
But you are lucky
I know some people who could not talk to ndvo and even one person mistakenly said "NO" to them and they are still waiting for 3 months

Hey everyone,

Has anyone done a simple wedding first time and filed their application? Then, later done a more elaborate wedding function(big wedding)?

Lets say if they call you in for interview.....is it a good idea to tell them about the second function? Is there anyone that did that? I do not want this to be taken in a wrong way my the immigrations. I didn't have time to arrange a big function because I had to return back to my job in Canada.

I would really appreciate if anyone tell me if they have informed immigration about a second celebration event or anything.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hi guys! A couple of tips for all from my experience.

1. After you are done with the immigration at Canada, they'll give you a signed copy of the landing papers, make sure that you keep that copy somewhere safe cuz you gonna need that when you apply for your citizenship a few years later. Also, it acts as your temporary PR card till you get one in the mail.

2. Try to get your SIN (social insurance number) at the airport itself as it will save you a LOT OF HASSLE. You need SIN for pretty much everything here (bank a/c, phone, cable, rent/lease an apartment etc.)

3. If you have a valid US driver license, you can get it converted to a Canadian license without any written or road tests. Pretty cool eh... ;) ;D

4. Apply for your health insurance card as soon as you can. In ON you are eligible for benefits after 3 months of stay

And ABOVE ALL:-

From my many-many years of experience of living abroad, DON'T F*CK with CREDIT and DON'T DROWN IN DEBT!!
It's very easy to swipe credit cards, but never go above above you means! In Northern America, if you have bad credit, you are nobody!

All the best folks! If any questions, PM me. ;)
