Thanks a lot...will do...
Why your file is pending as yet? Did u request for MP enquiry too, if I could ask

I don't know yet....I have applied for notes but pretty sure it will be interview required. I tried doing MP inquiry so many times, but every time they come back with their usual reply to wait for 15 months.

I would still suggest you to wait for this month....there are high chances you will get PPR request since your file is already in process :)

I completely understand....as these long wait times can take negative toll on relationship. Its the 'other' relatives that are more interested in your life than focusing on theirs make the matters worse.
I always thank to god that atleast my husband is understanding enough to not come in crap talks.......

I am also going to India at the end of this month to spend some quality time with my hubby and celebrate our very first anniversary. Hoping this wait time will end soon.

really I am cursing NDVO big time nowadays >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

You know what when I was filling papers for my husband, everyone used to tell me that "oh you have a government job, it won't take long for u". and now none of these people have an answer to my question of what is taking long.

They don't care where you work....all it matters to them that couple should suffer in wait >:( >:( >:( >:(

I agree with you....NDVO just doesn't bother about applicant.....this is just a harassment....who could wait for one year after marriage and lose such important time of their life.......

The applicant should receive acknowledgement letter within 2 weeks from SA saying NDVO has file with file number details asking for Fees and PCC if not already paid or submitted. Your Ecas will also change and it will have 2 tabs, 1st Sponsorship - Decision Made
2nd - for Applicant - Application received.

Thanks for the reply.

I currently have two tabs: 1st Sponsorship - Application Received - Oct 28th
2nd - for Applicant - Application Received- Oct 28th

Has anyone got response after MP enquiry?

How many days normally it takes for visa office to respond to MP enquiry.

Magicman was able to get a reply from MP. It usually takes 1 business day to get a reply.
