Congrats on IP, wish you a fast DM and visa...

1) Updated PCC is not asked for with PPR....NDVO wont ask during PPR.

2) PPR letter asks for specificially for Photos and PPT.

Updated PCC if needed and if at all would be requested seperately. dont worry i havent read of a single case where updated pcc was requested. but, if in rare cases, they have asked for pcc already submitted.

you dont have to request updated PCC from china - i am assuming your wife is already back in india. hence that would not be requested....

Yeh, i don't think she will need Chinese pcc anymore as she left china 3 years ago, didn't live anywhere else more than 6 months other than India.

Hope they don't ask as my wife gets headaches with local police! Anyways I am going there for nov to jan! So hoping she gets her visa by end of my trip. Returning to canada without her will be brutal!

My wife has landed in Toronto last night. The new journey now begins.
She said everything went smooth at the airport and she was out in 1 hour.

I lived in Ireland for 3 years, came back to India in 2011. And my lawyer told me to get PCC from their so I had to get my Irish PCC, they sent it by post.

Hiee.. The application forms clearly state that you need PCCs from any country where you have resided for over 6 months from the time your wife was 18 or 10yrs ago.. whichever is lesser, i think.. but i'm guessing from your post that she has submitted a pcc that she got from china while she was returning for good... most pccs have a validity even if you have never entered that country after that.. hopefully they will ask if they need... coz I was in the US for 2 yrs over 5 yrs ago but my husband insisted on getting a pcc from there and I had to wait 3 months for it before applying for the PR.. its definitely a headache.. but considering that my timelines are shorter than most, it was well worth the wait!..
