Announcing the arrival of PPR just now via email from
NDVO with an option to submit passport within Canada which is very helpful since I am in canada.


Status still shows IP.

Went to IP status on October 1, 2014

Keep your hopes high...May all those waiting for IP DM PPRs and shiny visas get theirs at the earliest.

Your file has been received and awaiting in the line for the Immigration Officer to have a look.

Don't worry about it as Ecas is not Reliable and not update to date daily. Be patient and your file will go " In Process " soon!

You may want to order GCMS note once per month. What it will do is give you full details on your file

Happy to receive PPR but now dont know what to do ?

I can submit passport to Ottawa CPC but NDVO suggested that I should submit passport in Canada if I was going to stay in Canada for 3 months.

Issue is that my flight is already booked in November for India. Now if I submit passport here, I do not know the processing times for visa stamping at Ottawa.

Even if I get passport before November, still I will need to exit and re-enter Canada to get PR status and landing papers but after that I will need PR card which takes months to arrive.

I do not know after getting PR status if I will be able to leave Canada and then re-enter on my valid work visa which is good till December 2015.

Dilemma is ON ! Just sharing....Dont know what to do

Bro if you get your passport back after stamping from Ottawa and you just go to border and re-enter you get your PR status right? so after that it doesn't matter if you get your PR card back or not you can still leave Canada. Only thing is you need to go to Canadian embassy in india to get travel document. you do not need PR card to travel anywhere out of Canada.

The message I'm getting now is stated below.. Probably meant that the first msg was just my PP reaching NDVO

"Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

Not dispatched to mumbai yet.. I have an aquaintance at vfs who just told me that processed PP does not mean PP with visa.. It means your file is entered into their system and lying in queue to be assessed.. but keeping my fingers crossed... Hope a miracle happens and I get my PP today!!

Yes its just getting processed at NDVO and when your tracking number gets updated to -PP ready for pickup that's when you can go and pick up your PP with shiny shiny Visa

And how many of you sent it afterwards?

i sent my PCC afterwards and i am on AR/MR!!

My husband has submitted PCC from India along the application but PCC from USA later on. Status is still AR/MR.
