Reached Winnipeg yesterday. Immigration took time for me. Inspite of having 4 hours transit in Montreal I had to miss my flight. Then I had to board the next available flight. So I would advice all of you who are travelling to book tickets accordingly.

Got my passport back with visa :D It reached vfs yesterday and I collected it today. Thanks everyone for all the support and information on this forum. :)

Hearty congratulations to all those who got IP, DM and PPR. The trend that happened before Diwali is returning now in the last few days. This means there will be many more status changes and PPR before Christmas holidays hopefully. People who are waiting just hang on. Good news is one the way. :)

Your question has a valid point. But as far as I read in the forum people who got ppr fill both applicant and spouse details in the form. It doesn't hurt to fill both information instead of guessing so that we can be at peace after submitting passport. Just my opinion.

GCMS notes gives you detailed step by step process of your application. It takes 30 days to get a reply. Incase you apply it too early there are chances that it will not have any information. MP inquiry is really quick within a matter of a week to get a reply. But again it depends on the MP...
