did you get any letter from NDVO after file transfer, which says

this is to inform you we have received your application for permanent residence.......

there usually they give the second uci....

NOTE.. THIS MAIL IS SENT TO PERSON BEING SPONSORED....
ALSO THIS IS SENT FROM NEW DELHI... AND NOT FROM ANY CANADIAN OFFICE...

I didnt receive any mail from ndvo..

My husband got SA and file transfer mail on 29th july..

Almost two weeks before..

How long i have to wait for AOR 2? Any idea?

Ur timeline says.. Almost two and half months right?

And for some of them its just 10days to two weeks right?

As they requested for medicals im even more tensed...

Out of curiosity, what additional documents did they request? Also, when you say March 2014 was that the date you submitted your application to CPC Sydney, or the date you got an approval letter and your file was transferred to New Delhi?

Anybody else from March 2014 or later who have got additional documents request? Kan_Sri ? Sbag_In?

What is the general CIC trend for additional documents? Does it happen within the first 3-4 months?

i did not get anything personally...
usually they inform you what they want...
so there is no need worrying about these stuff...
if it happens they let you ikwBbxeznowexactly what they need...

Congrats to those who got IP and good luck to 2014 applicants.
I am planning to visit Srilanka as a tourist with my family members for 3 weeks. I have few question,
1. Is this the right time to go as 2014 application process has started
2. Will there be any question from the visa office regarding my purpose of visit during visa stamping
3. Will this tour cause any problem to my canadian visa.
(I am Jan 20 applicant) Plz give ur suggestions.

no problem divyaguna,

enjoy the visit...

if you are the person being sponsored, there will be no problems at all...

secondly, they will not enquire about your travel history after the application....

thirdly, even if you get IP during your travels, by current trends, you will have PPR, only after you get DM.... so you have time..

only if the sponsor is a PR, he/she can not travel for long periods during the procedure.... if the sponsor is a CANADIAN citizen.. he/she can.....

so enjoy Sri Lanka... its a beautiful country....

I missed one of the Document . so they have requested . Its my mistake that I haven't completed one of the document.
