AOR is Acknowledgement of receipt...you get one from CIC-M and if luckly one from NDVO

"We have received your applicantion for spousal sponsorship on XX date."

AOR2 will be from NDVO

you will get the aor 2... ideally 15 days after file transfer to new delhi... even if you have not, does not matter.... wait upto 1 month after file transfer.... also check the spam folder....

ps. the AOR 2 is sent to the email address of the person who is being sponsored... not the sponsor's email address...

you will get the aor 2... ideally 15 days after file transfer to new delhi... even if you have not, does not matter.... wait upto 1 month after file transfer.... also check the spam folder....

ps. the AOR 2 is sent to the email address of the person who is being sponsored... not the sponsor's email address...

its already benn three months of SA.... bt still havent gt any mail from NDVO... neither ny husband... wat tp do nw?

all my documents were in English, so we did not get anything notarized.

if you give a photo copy of a markscard or official transcript copy then you need it notarized i guess. In spousal applicantion, you dont need these education/work reference. so i did not get anything notarized.

THESE ARE TWO EARLIER POSTS I SENT.... PLS CAN ANYBODY CLEAR UP.. I AM WORRIED NOW, THAT MY APPLICATION IS INCOMPLETE...

i was just going through the posts......
why would you want to notarise the passport.... i donot get it... as far as i know, its not a good idea to mess with a passport, unless its from the passport office... secondly, about the marriage certificate... i got it VALIDATED not notarised from MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFARIRS, kOLkATA OFFICE.... I am seriously confused now....

this is a list of the document checklist... IMM5491E....
nowhere is it mentioned that you need to NOTARISE stuff....
i am sorry, but please can anybody clear up the confusion.............

P.S. i went through the immigrant's guide IMM3999... There also they say, you need CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES, viz. NOTARISED COPIES, only when you are submitting an official translation of a document, which is not in ENGLISH... as far as i know, all INDIAN documents are in ENGLISH.. at least mine are.. so do you still need to notarise stuff..... confused....

PLEASE POST YOUR EXACT TIMELINE....YOUR PROFILE IS INCOMPLETE... WHEN DID YOU FILE APPLICATION... EXACT DATE...
WHEN DID THE CIC FIRST CONTACT YOU TO SAY THEY HAVE RECEIVED YOU APPLICATION (viz AOR1)
WHEN DID THEY CONTACT YOU SECOND TIME TO SAY THAT THEY HAVE APPROVED YOU AS A SPONSOR AND ARE TRANSFERIING YOUR FILE TO NEW DELHI (viz. FILE TRANSFER)
