It seems like we people started checking 2013 forum regularly than ours (2014 forum) to know how many IP's and DM's are coming up so that we can get ready for our turns. Change of status in 2013 giving us positive hopes. Praying for our turns soon

Hello Divyguna,
You should get your DM between September 25th 2014 and Oct 8th 2014 as per the Estimation Sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgtLnoSsGQaqdEk3NGhTSlU5MlVodzhKLV9CaktfUEE#gid=0)

Hello Sammy,
It is based on cases processed in the recent past, and posted on trackitt. That data is in "Data_others" sheet/tab in the same document.
On the basis of that "agrgt_dif", and "Step_dif" sheets calculate the estimated time each stage should take using two different algorithms. Based on your dates and that data "averages" sheet calculate your estimated DM date.

This sheet evaluates all sorts of cases in the same manner. If someone has a complex case it may take longer.
As you get more milestone dates, fill them in the sheet and your estimated date will become more and more accurate.

thanx.... seems pretty interesting... i also estimated the same timeline based on the current trends... i thought i should get IP by 10th NOV and DM by late NOV.... as i am a late MARCH applicant.... and as late DEC applicants are getting IP / DM in early AUGUST....

I am glad that you found it useful.

FYI This sheet doesn't estimate DM date alone, but date for each stage as well. As soon you fill the application date estimated dates of other stages are filled in rows 9 and 10. More data you enter, better these estimations for next stage become.

Hi All (especially seniors),

Please reply to my questions, I am so confused.

Post from yesterday:

I (sponsor) need some help in regards with change of address for my wife (sponsored person). Here is the brief outline:

1) Sent the application to Mississauga on May 2, 2014
2) Sponsor approved (me) - sometime in the last week of June, 2014 and file forwarded to NDVO
3) Sponsored person (wife)'s status - In Process

My wife moved to a new residence after we applied, and the address on the application is of her old address.

Question:
1) What's the best way to notify NDVO about her change in mailing address so that they forward all correspondence to her new address?
2) By notifying NDVO through e-mail, fax or both?
3) What's the e-mail address and fax number for the notification?
4) Does she need to send the e-mail/fax with attachments of her AOR letter + her signature on the scanned document stating change of mailing address request?
5) Appropriate phone number to get more information in NDVO.

I apologize for so many questions, but your help would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck to everyone for a speedy process!

Cheers,
Dpatel

p.s.

I know it's difficult to stay apart from our spouses as they might not be granted a tourist/visitor visa, but at-least some of us have an option to visit them in India. CIC processing time states that it would take almost 13 months on average for the sponsored person for approval. That means my wife would be arriving sometime next June 2015. That's too long to stay apart from your spouse in the beginning phase of marriage. Since many have travelled back to India to visit there spouses, I will do the same to visit my wife.

Hi Veb, in second AOR from NDVO, they asked to send proof of landing fee and original PCC ( if not already given ),
I have already submitted at CPC-M with the main application,

No need to respond back if u have already submitted documents. Its generalised email which is sent to everyone.

Hey Sammy,

Thanks for the info! I logged into E-cas using my wife details and saw the Change of Mailing Address. This is what it mentions "There are different ways of changing your address depending on whether you are:

In Canada
Outside Canada"

Since our application is already forwarded to NDVO, and looking from my wife's perspective she is Outside Canada and technically needs to use Outside Canada options where they metnion that we need to notify the New Delhi office about the change, RIGHT????

sorry for creating the confusion, my wife's status is NOT IN-PROCESS, but like you mentioned "Application Received"

Thanks veb for the reply,
SAMMY also told me the same.
