This a generic mail they send out to pretty much all the applicants. If you have already submitted your PCC and landing fee then you don't have to worry about it.
This is not a PPR. NDVO is working on apps from Nov/Dec'13. Once they get to your file, they'll send you a PPR. Majority of the applicants from 2014 haven't received a PPR yet. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Like everyone said we will get PPR in Oct/Nov and hopefully will get our PR in december.. still its 5 months to go.. can i apply for visiting visa or tourist visa so that i can get a chance to visit my husband...

There is no rule saying that you can't apply for a visitor visa. However, chances of them giving you one are slim to none. :(
Rather, your husband visiting you might be a much more feasible option.

"New dataset has been published by CIC:

Here is the latest count of number of spousal apps received at NDVO:
June:655
July:542
Aug:468

Sep:390
Oct: 344
Nov: 269
Dec: 330

As you can see, they got slammed in June, Jul and Aug with 450+ apps.

Sep has been considerably lesser with Oct, nov and Dec being even lesser.

I heard from the MP office yesterday that even though they have resumed normal processing times, some of the Pakistan files have gotten transferred to NDVO but that they are still giving priority to India spousal apps first.

Plus, I was told that they have gotten some kind of internal directive that they need to bash out all 2013 apps ASAP in the next 45 days. Hope these are valid intel I received".

jbedi,,,

are you an angel or what.... i believe that this info is genuine... and also taking into account that december applicants have received ppr, i am very hopeful... pls guys... if any 2014 applicant does receive a PPR... do notify us.... seems like NDVO is picking up the pace... high time... i remember when my dad sponsored us back in 2009, it took 4/5 months in total via NDVO... so the process is not actually very tedious... i believe the delay is due to a huge number of backed up cases......

always hopeful to meet my wife soon.....
cheers..

OFF TOPIC......

what is the deal with CPC MISSISSAUGA... they have been showing 55 days waiting time... and processing May 16, applications for over a month now.... any insight guys....????

The numbers are correct as per data set released by CIC. I hope the rest of the info is correct too. Thanks jbedi for sharing the gud news :)
I want to spend time with my wife on her b'day in November. I think I will have to visit her in India, I just hope our file is at least in process by then.
