Hey Guys - I did some quick analysis based on new data set published by CIC. During May, June, July and Aug 2013 NDVO received a total of 2,277 applications for spouse and children category. They took approximately 5.5 months processing these applications according to 2013 New Delhi thread that I have been following for few months now. During Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec 2013 NDVO received 1,261 applications for same category. Assuming there processing speed remains the same per application it should take them 3 months to process these applications. We know from 2013 thread that Sep 2013 applications started going 'In Process' status about a month ago. Based on these numbers we can assume that Jan 2014 applications should start to go 'In Process' towards the end of Aug or beginning of Sep.

PS: this is my own rough analysis which could be wrong, don't make your plans based on this.

Like everyone said we will get PPR in Oct/Nov and hopefully will get our PR in december.. still its 5 months to go.. can i apply for visiting visa or tourist visa so that i can get a chance to visit my husband...

Your TRV (Temporary Residence Visa) would be refused 99%sure about this good luck.

Appliction of My Wife got approved in Mississauga.

Though website mentions they are working on 16-may....but my application was recd in last week of may...hence the wait is approximately 48 days

There were few minor mistakes in my Sponsorship Application (which I realised when filing my Citizenship form)...thank god, application got approved.

You can get a insight of my application package as below

1. My period of stay at one address in India was contradictory with another...it was typo error
2. I did not submitted Option C printout for 2013 (though i submitted for 2010, 11 and 12 and original reassessment order for 2013) from CRA, and wrote a explanation to that.
3. I dont know the where abouts of my ex...i wrote a very nice explanation to that
4. We did not go to honeymoon, wrote the proper reason for that too
5. Medicals and PCC of my wife were done on old passport, but after a week we applied for new passport with new details like...surname, address, spouse name..as result old passport was cancelled by Passport Office in India....so we made a detailed explanation to that in an Indian affidavit signed by notary with special stamps

Now as per the records of CIC name of my spouse is without surname...only first name is appearing (because the Old Passport on which medicals were done contains only First Name).

How to change it in NDVO records.

I am planning to tell my wife in India to make an affidavit and attach old as well new passport copies, Aaadhar card, PAN Card, Driving License and Marriage certificate, and write a proper covering letter for addition of surname..

Any thoughts and value additions pls???

mine took 61 days.... approx 55 days.... just as mentioned on website... :-[

As you can see, they got slammed in June, Jul and Aug with 450+ apps.

Sep has been considerably lesser with Oct, nov and Dec being even lesser.

I heard from the MP office yesterday that even though they have resumed normal processing times, some of the Pakistan files have gotten transferred to NDVO but that they are still giving priority to India spousal apps first.

Plus, I was told that they have gotten some kind of internal directive that they need to bash out all 2013 apps ASAP in the next 45 days. Hope these are valid intel I received".

This is too good....hopefully we can get our visa soon.... hoping for Nov will come with the blast of our Visa (2014)... thnks Jbedi for the info,.

It takes minimum 30 days....mine was approved within 30 days...

An April applicant from London visa office just had their file go "In process". That's like in 3 months! Come on NDVO... it's about frickin time!

File transfer from Mississauga to NDVO doesn't take long. Say about week to 10 days after sponsor approval. Once NDVO gets the file, they'll send a generic mail to the 'applicant' asking for PCC and landing fees if 'not already submitted'. And that's your AOR.
