You can ignore it. You have done your job. This is a computer generated mail that goes to people in bulk. Just wait for your PPR.Zokomon said:Hello all! I have a newbie question. Received an email from NDVO on Jun'10 asking me submit Landing fee and PCC if not already submitted. To which I replied on the very same day and sent my response via regular (snail) mail. My questions are:
1. It's been about a month now and there is no update/response frm NDVO. Is this normal?
2. Landing fee and PCC are always submitted along with application at the Mississauga office. Why are they (NDVO) asking for it now? :
3. What to expect going forward from there?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you Jbedi, your response is greatly appreciated! I noticed your timeline, I'm about four months behind you... April submission. All the best!Jbedi said:You can ignore it. You have done your job. This is a computer generated mail that goes to people in bulk. Just wait for your PPR.

yes qualification equalization so that if they consider degree for 2 years, I will do some certification which are global here in India.its better not to waste time..and once i reach canada and then study and then Job..It will be too late..ntvnaveen said:Why you want ur education evaluated? looking for equalization? then its depends on ur education and the province you want to move in Canada.
Hello Mainak,mainak_das1 said:Hello all members,
I am a march 2014 applicant and as per the info here and on the 2013 forum, i am expecting the visa by december or early january (+9.5 months from inital application date). Just few weeks back i applied for a TRV, after seeing some encouraging posts about a few members and their freinds getting TRV. But unfortunately, mine came back as rejected. The reasons for resfusal was
"Not able to satisfy me (the immigration officer) that you will be leaving canada after your temporary stay. We looked at the following to reach this decision
-purpose of visit
-relationship with relatives in Canada
-your travel history"
I feel that these are all invalid reasons. My spouse had explicity stated on the invitation letter that i am visiting for the sole purpose of meeting him since the PR application is expected to take 13 months. I had also provided them with my UCI and application # that came with my PR application AOR. We felt that our application was going to appear genuine because we didnt misrepresnt or lie about anything.
Can any senior member share your thoughts on this?? are the immigration officers playing a game and giving bogus reasons only to refuse applicants who have already applied for a PR? should we reapply for a TRV or is it to risky because any further refusal could affect my PR application??
your advise is very much appreciated.
Thanks for the wishes Zokomon. Best wishes to you too.Zokomon said:Thank you Jbedi, your response is greatly appreciated! I noticed your timeline, I'm about four months behind you... April submission. All the best!
Hi Nitya, I will surely keep the forum updated about my PPR. According to the new trend , they will send the PPR whenever they plan to open our files. Best wishes.Nitya114 said:hello,

I think we are having almost same time line.may be 1 month before u have put....i have put my file in Feb 2014,,,, so let us know....when u got PPR...I guess PPR will come at last when precessing is done... in 2013 they ask for passport before 6 months and keep with them but, for 2014 applicant PPR will send at last...
You need to google a lot on that about ur evaluation process..even 2years degree will consider but may consider as a Canadian diploma not degree.Sakshi1813 said:yes qualification equalization so that if they consider degree for 2 years, I will do some certification which are global here in India.its better not to waste time..and once i reach canada and then study and then Job..It will be too late..
Thnks Jbedi for your reply. This practice of rejecting by giving bogus reasons is very unfair. if they really dont want to give out visas to young applicants then they shouldnt accept applications at all...after all 100 dollars is not a small amount.Jbedi said:Hello Mainak,
I also applied for my TRV stating the same purpose and with valid and supporting documentation. Mine was also returned with exactly same reasons. I believe they do not issue TRV this soon to people of our age, no matter what the situation is. According to 2013 forum, there are about 99% refusal cases for TRV. We have no way but to wait for the PR. Stay calm and positive.
