2013, all applications got PPR within 1-2 months of their application submission. Then they kept passport for 6-7 months for VISAs.
2012, applicants used to get PPR within 5-6 months and got them back with VISAs in 1-2 months

Not sure what plan they have in mind for 2014 applicants. What bothers is, why they have stopped PPR after Dec 2013 cases? They should at least ask for PP for next Slot(Jan/Feb/March) cases or is it month by month.....not sure......but one can not travel abroad even when there is probable chances of PPR anytime. Better is to have PPR, at least you get bit relaxed to see the flow in the process. :P

Can anyone suggest how to get the educational qualification(in India) evaluated and from where??

Why you want ur education evaluated? looking for equalization? then its depends on ur education and the province you want to move in Canada.

Currently NVDO is working on Oct 2013 files..meenu12 had got her file transferred to NVDO on 27th Nov but she had filed the application in Missisaga in October only. So as per current trend they are working on Oct files.. but Nov files are just few days away !! :D Hope everyone gets faster visa.. :)

Hi Sakshi,

There are multiple options for this. You can refer to the Credential Assessment Section in the CIC website for Federal Assessment Services. Each province has its own International/Foreign Qualification Assessment Services. Also, some Universities' assessments are accepted outside of those universities. You could select one of the available options based on the purpose of the assessment...

If you are looking for professional certifications/associations (like medical, engineering, pharmaceutical etc) you will have to go to the respective boards like College of Physicians, P. Engg, PEBC etc... You can google for your specific needs. Unfortunately, I am unable to send you links on this post.

All the best!

I checked it just now. It's working perfectly fine for me.

Hello all! I have a newbie question. Received an email from NDVO on Jun'10 asking me submit Landing fee and PCC if not already submitted. To which I replied on the very same day and sent my response via regular (snail) mail. My questions are:
1. It's been about a month now and there is no update/response frm NDVO. Is this normal?
2. Landing fee and PCC are always submitted along with application at the Mississauga office. Why are they (NDVO) asking for it now? ::)
3. What to expect going forward from there?

Thanks in advance! :)
