Would be kind of funny if they change their operating guides to 13 months after the petition.

Lol, you are right, you can never trust these things, but we can try writing the petition in English and mention 6 months or less waiting times only. :D

I had applied for visitor visa in Feb 2014 which was refused. Also that time i had inland application in canada. anyway no use applying visit visa . cz they will refuse it.
they dont check records ..or permits just refuse...so if u want to waste time..money and most important emotions apply for one and get rejected.

so please do not apply honestly!!

My wife received the email for the AOR 2 today let's see what happens next it will be PPR but let's see when my consultant said it will be by late August early September based on the current trends most visas are coming in at around 8 to 9 months if your case is clear good luck guys :)

We have couple of members on the forum, who are interested in putting forward a petition to speed up the process for spouse visas.

Please advise if you are interested too, once we get at least 10 ppl to confirm, we will start a new thread, and start the process.

Thanks,

Iceskater
dats a gud to start a new thread...I m sure lots of people contribute there advices...I m recently done MP enquiry and this is d reply of NDVO to my MP. ..may be this thing gave lil bit help about d process...

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months...

dats wrong its 13 Months...

Hi Nidhi,

4 months is nothing, as all have to wait at least 8 to 9 months at average. Still, Sep. 2013 applications file going on at NDVO....as per current scale just expect your in Nov or Dec 2013...hope it get before that.

Any other have more precise estimation or information then share it.

Thanks

My file is even through lawyer. In my case our lawyer is based in Canada so I was told any communications from Ndvo will be done to me rather than either of them,

My Lawyer and husband is in Canada, so probably I will be receiving the confirmation from NDVO.

I wonder, people are getting AOR2 as well those file were transferred after mine(2nd May'2013), Can i contact someone because i dont even know whether they have received my application or not.

Any Suggestions!!

I see that some people jbedi, Kan_Sri, pameyb, and dhaliwal gagan have received passport requests according to the timeline sheet. Have you guys received Passport requests or is this a glitch in the file?

Hi there. I think your agent is being extremely optimistic here. You will be really lucky to hear something back by August/September. Based on timeline in 2013 thread, they are currently processing Sep 2013 applications. My best guess is that they will reach January 2014 applications by Sept 2014. Anyways good luck to us all :)

No I have not received passport request. I am sure none of 2014 applicants have received passport requests. Almost 100% sure.

Yah, somebody is playing with timeline sheet. Please don't do that.

I have some questions

After AOR is received, approx when do you get a request to submit your passport (in terms of # of months) ?

For how long does the embassy hold your passport for?

Hope someone here can reply back , thanks :) :)
