I heard that they have stopped approving Vistor Visa for those who have applied for spouse sponsorship from 2014.Iceskater said:Hi Sakshi1813,
You can apply for visitor visa and it doesn't affect your application.
Thanks,

Hi Rash,rash04 said:Hi,
I asked my lawyer and couple of other people who got visas and applied trv during their file, everybody said this wont add up as a red flag. But chances are less that you will recieve it.
Two of my friends applied in march after submitting their files and both of them got it. So I am even thinking abput this . Rest its your choice.
Hi m april applicant, i also got same email bt my representative told its a computer generated email. U don't need to send them again if u already submitted coz they clearly mentioned, otherwise it will confuse them. ThanksRM2014 said:Hi All,
New to this forum. After reading a few threads, am confused and need your help:
I have been sponsored by my husband and we had submitted our application in March 2014, the file was transferred to Delhi in April 2014.
I received an email from New Delhi consulate stating that they have received my application. The email also stated that
In order to expedite the processing of application, we are requesting that you provide the following as soon as possible:
• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
I had already paid my RPRF fee and sent the original PCC with the application. Hence, I haven't taken any action on the email for a while.
Do I need to send a copy of the receipt and photo copy of PCC again.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Yes, This email looks like a standard letter sent to everyone, (maybe to keep the ball rolling) :Dhaliwal gagan said:Hi m april applicant, i also got same email bt my representative told its a computer generated email. Iceskater said:We have couple of members on the forum, who are interested in putting forward a petition to speed up the process for spouse visas.
Please advise if you are interested too, once we get at least 10 ppl to confirm, we will start a new thread, and start the process.
Thanks,

My file is even through lawyer. In my case our lawyer is based in Canada so I was told any communications from Ndvo will be done to me rather than either of them,Sakshi1813 said:Hi Rash,
Any Idea that who will receive notification from New Delhi - My husband has filled it through Consultant. So I will be reciving the acknowledgement or Lawyer or My Husband.
Thanks

Iceskater said:RM2014,
We can definitely try and see, after all we are not asking for something additional, only to get the process within 6 months as per their operating standards.
