In your case ever thing was so fast. ...I can see within 2 to 3 months ..you were asked PP. ...how come that fast
bcoz I m 2013 applicant. ..and most of d 2013 applicants got pp requests...but after dat they didn't touch our files. ..
I received GCMS notes nd according to them after 12th dec they didn't touch my file. ..so first few months was fast but after dat longggg wait. ..

Hey everyone just wanted to find out if everyone gets AOR 2 recently everyone did. I have received anything for AOR2 but last thing I received was the SA stating the file was transferred to Delhi. Should I be expecting just the PPR or do you guys think there will be an AOR2 ?

That should be AOR2. In my case, I received an email from CIC saying that I am eligible for sponsorship and my file has been transferred to NDVO, which i considered AOR1 and my wife got email saying that her application has been received and file has been opened, which I considered AOR2. :)

Both received in email.

Cheers,
(2014, Jan Applicant)

all d applicants of 2014..if u do not received passport request then don't panic..

the office of the Minister of Citizenship & Immigration said that "all new applications will only have passport requests made closer to completion of processing". We have seen this in the recent times with requests to submit receipt of payment and PCC, but does not ask for passport. So dont be surprised if the letter does not ask for passport. They are going back to their old practice of asking for passport closer to completion of processing..

Did you find this update somewhere on cic site???

Kk thanks for the update I haven't got the AOR2 yet let's see

My suggestion. ....keep calm and enjoy India. ...you all guys will miss India....once you reach Canada. ...no body has time for anybody here . ...human beings are machine here. ...this is my experience. ....mera vass challe at hunne hi bhajj aawa. ...par mortgage car loan rrrsp loans. ...do not allow u to run from here. ...it is mithi jail. ...u have everything but at the end of day when you assess you lost everything. ..

Does applying for GCMS notes extend your timelines ? Any ideas ?

no..i have seen forum members who did not apply for notes taking 12 months and it took me 13 months after applying for notes...ecas status for me now is 'decision made' and it has taken me one month extra than some forum members how had not applied for notes (but 13 months is the regular processing time as per CIC)

my suggestion is 'don't expect everything there to be same like in India' in fact don't have any expectations at all and accept all the good and bad just like you accept all the good and bad in India...

Hi All,

If you are a Feb-2014 applicant with VO as New Delhi, then can you update status on the link below, as we are trying to track specific month and VO applications.

FEBRUARY 2014 - NEW DELHI - SPOUSE APPLICANTS

It would be a great help to organize for everyone.

Thank you,

Iceskater

Getting sick of this waiting game. It looks like never ending. When will our turn come, I desperately want to resign from my job. In current waiting game situation, neither you can leave job nor you can change.

We have couple of members on the forum, who are interested in putting forward a petition to speed up the process for spouse visas.

Please advise if you are interested too, once we get at least 10 ppl to confirm, we will start a new thread, and start the process.

Thanks,

Iceskater

Lets do it.
