I had over 2000 pages of IM chats from whatsapp. I printed out snippets from different months to show evidence rather than the entire thing. My recommendation to you would be to talk longer on the phone if possible and get a service or a plan where you have sufficient tracking e.g. an international LD plan either for you or your spouse (whoever can get it for cheaper). Alternatively, I would encourage emailing with reasonable conversations around interests, career etc (i.e. nothing too personal).

I'm assuming that your application is outland (i.e. you are not currently in Canada), I would suggest that you follow the April thread. For specific to New Delhi, you can still post here.

I received my AOR2 from Delhi Embassy today. they are asking for full fee payment receipt and all PCCs if not submitted already.

Great! I'm in the same boat. Just submitted a copy of receipt/PCC yesterday to Delhi office and told them that it was already submitted with the original application.
Does ECAS show anything different from the past? or just "Application received"

I also did an upfront med exam from Apollo Ludhiana...They give me a receipt and a proof of medical exam....When we got our SA it was mentioned that meds have been received, usually it takes 4-7 days for meds to reach CIC-M.
Abt the PCC in Punjab it took me 9 days to get it including police verification... Everything is pretty fast here but NDVO is tough..good luck

I also did mine from apollo ldh...from august to oct we hv done everything..medical, pcc, ppr...but after October its been very tough situation..ndvo is soo slow..everything is done in 2 months now waitfor 13 months...

Sponsor should log into ecas and request an update online. Additional instructions are listed there as well eg calling CIC office.

Hello Guys,


I have received 1st AOR email on 9th April 2014, then after did not received any email / post for SA from CIC. It 16 days passed out after AOR email.

In ECAS - Sponsorship Application Status show : Decision Made.

And, clicking Under Decision Made, it mentioned that : "We sent you a letter on April 10, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us".

So still not received any single LETTER OR EMAIL!!!! from CIC.


All guys, can you give advise as per your experience?
