Hello Pratik021,

Do not despair. I had the same issue.

  • I got an email for AOR1 on 28th March - Great!
  • I was expecting SA within a few days, but I did not receive any letter or email from CIC, even though ECAS stated "Decision Made" on 31st March - I was paranoid during this time....not great!

  • Eventually I got a letter 16 days after stating that they had approved my sponsorship application.

So just relax, try to keep your mind busy and all will be well Pratik021 :)

Take care!

Hello,

Today, I received my SA letter through Post Mail. SA letter stated that :- ... Sponsor meet the requirements for eligibility for sponsor and file transfer to NEW DELHI for further process. Is that what all getting.

It take around 17 days after 1st AOR.

Thanks

Congratulations! Yes that is all you will get for SA :)

I have a concern regarding medical examination. We know it is valid for 12 months and most people do an upfront medical exam before application. New Delhi processing time is 13 months on average right now. Does that mean people have to re-do medicals before coming to canada?

Not sure if there are members here who have experienced this.
Hopefully it won't come down to that but it certainly is a possibility. The longer time between doing the medical and submitting the application, the higher the risk. Either way the applicants are advised.

Hi ,

I applied under sponsor class spouse for my family. yesterday I received a letter to submit PCC for any country stayed more then 6 Months from Delhi high commission of Canada.

already I sent my wife's PCC on 30/Jan/2014 along with original passports and e- medical form. The PCC valid for one year. I do not have a photo copy.

So I decided to send a letter to Delhi immigration about already I submitted the police clearance certificate for India and I did not travel or work for any other country then India.

did any one have same situation?

Dear Jeyaprakash,

That email you received is a standard email sent out by Delhi NDVO, just a reply to that email should be fine if you have already submitted.

But, why and when have you submitted the original passport to NDVO? can you post your timeline for others to understand?

Thanks
KanSri

Hello,

1) Can someone please post the link to spreadsheet for 2014 applicants?

2) Also, I'm planning to apply in May for my wife and she wants to go to Pakistan (On visit visa), right after I get acknowledgement that New Delhi Visa Office has received the documents, until she gets a Passport Request. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as to whether or not it would be an issue.

I haven't heard anything after my wife got email from NDVO saying that her file has been created. :(

You should hear in 2 weeks since current processing time is at 34 days. If you still haven't heard anything after 34 days, call the CIC and check. Post that it will take 2 weeks to get your sponsorship approval which is when your file is sent to the Delhi office.

I wouldn't worry so much because asking for PCC or fees etc. is an automated response as they go through your file. Either way, it's safe to email/mail/fax them a letter to acknowledge what letter you received and state that it's your baby you've sponsored and since he/she is under the age of 18, a PCC is not necessary as per Canadian Sponsorship requirements.
