Hello,

1) Can someone please post the link to spreadsheet for 2014 applicants?

2) Also, I'm planning to apply in May for my wife and she wants to go to Pakistan (On visit visa), right after I get acknowledgement that New Delhi Visa Office has received the documents, until she gets a Passport Request. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as to whether or not it would be an issue.

I wouldn't worry so much because asking for PCC or fees etc. is an automated response as they go through your file. Either way, it's safe to email/mail/fax them a letter to acknowledge what letter you received and state that it's your baby you've sponsored and since he/she is under the age of 18, a PCC is not necessary as per Canadian Sponsorship requirements.
Thanks a lot for the response... we have acknoledged CIC delhi via mail, fax and letter.. But haven't got a response from them yet.. Approximately any idea when will they ask for passport and how long will it take time to get my sons visa in hand?

You likely won't get a response and they claim that you wouldn't given volume of applications. For passport, no idea. Some of the members here with Applications submitted in Nov/Dec haven't been asked for their passports yet. The waiting game begins :)

I'm not an expert for the answer but here's my thought.

I think your wife can go to Pakistan until her passport request is received. At that point she can return back to India and wait until PR is processed. To be safe, I would email NDVO to get an official confirmation because I'm assuming your next question would be whether you change your spouse's address to the one in Pakistan or leave it to the Kolkata one. The benefit of changing it to Pakistan would be that CIC would have a record of your spouse's movement and official address for reaching out. The downside might be that it's in a different country and depending upon the time that your spouse is staying there, a separate police clearance might be requested in future.

Thanks SINGHJAG. She will not be changing anything such as address etc. as she only wants to go visit for a month or two. I am just thinking if her visiting Pakistan while application is in process would have any negative impact.

I don't think there should be an issue then. Based on the timeline we're seeing, passport is not going to be requested for a while anyway. Might as well make the most of the time.

Hello Baadshah,

You can travel outside india while you wait on the application. That should not be a problem.

But visiting sensitive areas would be looked at differently by the CIC as far as i know. But sine you/she does have family there should weigh in your favor. Case depends on individual applications and the case officiers.

Good Luck with your application.
Regards
KanSri
