hello everyone,
wanted suggestion from my forum members...my child is sick here in india...she is a Canadian citizen waiting for me to get my spouse visa...is there anyway for me to get a tourist visa and drop her in Canada, get her adjusted with dad and come back to india and then go bavk with my pr...im a November 2013 applicant who got her aor on jan 30 but no ppr so far though the sponsorship approval was very quick.... do u think I should apply for GCMS notes to see if ppr is made....also how much time would it take for immigration.... im just into a hopeless situation...
thanks

Thanks Kickb for replying on this.

I think we better wait for cancellation to get over,...cz if i do medical upfront then by the time he opens it and case gets transferred it will get more older.
I guess PCC would be done again too.
so wait and wait !!!!

But if there are anyother complications in your case like you should file your outland application at anycost to avoid it, i would suggest file it off. As it would help you. Else wise, wait and file later on. All the best :)

Sorry to hear about the situation but all i can say is you need to wait for your spousal visa. Visitor visa will land you no where.

you got your pr after your weeding ? if so this is not my case i m pr holder since 5 years.

i got wedding before i got landed in Canada i.e., betwwen visa issuance and becomming PR. Anyways i am not aware of your case.

I received the application number from NDVO on Feb 10 but still waiting for PPR, i was expecting to receive the PPR within one month after the first email from NDVO.

Do you think this is still in normal processing time
???

Hmm there are no complications besides not able to file the application. yes i can wait till the cancellation process is over.

i already have PCC..birth cert, and medicals will be done laters i guess
so hope my hub still has job...till then else we are further in deep trouble,

and why to pay to any immigrant agent for nothing ..

i rather do all of it ourselves.

it is always sugggested to do it yourself as it is very simple and if you have any querries you can always contact CIC call center for info. You dont need agent unless ur case is complicated.

Hey .anyone who can assist me with the questions i asked...plz plz..

the immigrant agents say sthg different and CIC says different,
I need to really file application in april or my case goes further bad!

if someone knows what should i do plz tell me ?

as CIC agent said we cant apply outland till inland application is cancelled..which may take 16 weeks.
I am highly depressed...feel like a complete idiot why did i leave canada..

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you have having so much trouble with immigration. I am not sure what you can do if CIC-M cannot say the same things to guide you. Maybe you can start a query in the forum and maybe someone having similar experience can help you. How long did they say it will take to cancel your in-land application?

You should apply after complete cancellation so that your case doesn't get too complicated that your file will get delayed further. All the best!

I am really worried as it has been more than 1 month after SA and there is no passport request yet. Is there anything wrong?

They are asking for your passport after approximately 2 months from the time you get SA as far as I know for the new 2014 applicants.

Hi Friends,

I am PR holder in canada, i m married and my wife is pregnant...and she cannot be able to do her full medicals ( except the x-ray,everything is done). I am confused about 2 things.

1. Shall i apply for my wife PR now as she is pregnant and do the apply the additional family when she delivers for my child.
or
2. shall i wait for a time and do both the wife and child together, after she delivers?

please help me out of this suituation.

cheers,
Chakravarthy.

Hm... tough one. Since you are PR applicant, you will also have to sponsor your child (If you were Canadian citizen, then your child wouldn't have to be applied for as he/she would automatically get Canadian citizenship).

I would honestly suggest that you apply after your wife delivers your child because otherwise your wife will have her PR but not your child and then she will have to stay back until your child's application is processed and it might take a long time. I have already seen this happen with lots of 2012 and 2013 applicants. It might seem like a bad idea not to start the PR process already but it will take longer in the long run, just because you are PR sponsor.

Wishing you all the best!

It usually takes 1-2 more months for PPR. Hang in there! I am sure you will be hearing something soon.

Hang in there Palaki. I know it is awful but there is not much possibility of your visit visa being accepted and if you ask for your passport back, they will delay your file. Plus, your husband may not be able to take care of your child while also managing work while you are out of the picture as mothers can take better care of their children usually. Inquire about your file through your MP or apply for GCMS notes or make a case specific inquiry.. anything that might draw attention to your file may be a good thing.

Dear All,

Comments on forum are very helpful. I have received my application number on 1st march.

Please inform tentative timelines for passport request.

Thanks a ton
