when NDVO updates website??

i try to keep the xcel updated based on the update posted on the thread....:-D

Many people do try and keep us updated....but some of them find it difficult.....however, it is safe to assume if a particular cluster of people on the xcel who are still on AR/MR because they actually have not received any updates yet....

June has just merely started....quite a few March applicants mid to end are hearing back now....along with april and may..couple of feb guys also heard back last week......so stay tuned and you will see their updates....

Kan_Sri : we can see lot of may applicants are still in AR especially POST MAY 15th applicants.. don't we get any updates from the users or they are still in AR ?

It is amazing to see how active this forum is!! Thanks to all senior members and all those who share their knowledge and experience.

I want to get idea about marriages through matrimonial sites. Anyone here who met through matrimonial portal and put their file and got DM if you could please reply to this message/inbox me, i would really appreciate. because i got married through matrimonial site and its stressful to hear that it might get rejection. I mean knowing everything is genuine and after marriage, if there are thoughts about whether to show it as matrimonial startup or family introduction hurts. Thoughts please.

there are a few basic guidelines to fill out the application.
they ask you when u met and where (in person).. u donot have to mention matrimonial site..
secondly.. if u supply marriage photos, invitation card, honeymoon photos, hotel receipt, tickets, marriage certificate and communication logs(many dont have this.. so dont worry if u dont), i highly doubt ur app will be rejected.
i know u met on a matrimonial site, but u did get married in person right.. so dont worry.. so much.

It will not get rejected just like that..If you had given a detailed explanation in the form they understand how traditional marriages happens in India.If they didn't convinced with ur application details,they might call for interview and their u still you have an opportunity to convince them or explain to them..what is your time line

Birth certificate is not as important once u have attached ur certificates..
I remember my lawyer told me education certificate can cover up for birth certificate

Hey,

I suppose it is very important to submit birth certificate. If you submit the school certificates, than it should have your name, parents name and date of birth.

As you have already applied for PR, I think you should wait, if they ask for it you will have to send it.

Don't worry. You have got company. As per spreadsheet there are around 11 February applicants in AR and IP. One interview and one ADR among them. Last week there were some updates from February applicants. So keep checking your inbox and spam folders. You can get it anytime. Good luck.

Thank you very much sbag for your inputs. I have questions about formIMM5490E ques 3 where it asks -did anyone(individual or org) introduce you to your sponser?.

and ques 17 in same form - was your mrg arranged? relative, friends or brokers(matchmakers)

can i write 'shaadi.com' as ans for ques 3 and after introduction, obviously marriage was arranged by family members once they got involved.
