Hi guys

I am may 20th 2014 applicant.. When we submitted our application.. We submitted without birth certificate stating the reason in the cover letter but we submitted the other proofs like pan card,andhaar,school certificate etc Wanted to no from u guys that is birth certificate really imp.
Need inputs of u guys
I am worried as my status is still in application received

yes it's imp and u could attach copy of birth certificate... i think u send it to NDVO and i think senior members will help u about this

when ur file is tranferred to NDVO
they send generic email included UCI and File no.

Next you will receive an AOR VIA POST OR EMAIL.....SO keep checking ur inbox.........and the status will remain the same until ndvo open your application and then it will change to IP. AND after application transferred to ndvo it takes min three months to change the status to IP. AS ITS GOING ON THESE DAYS.....SOME APPLICANTS THOSE WHO SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION IN MISSISSAUGA IN MAY JUST RECEIVED IP status....So ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR TURN....

i believe that if they think ur documents r not complete they must ask u for ADR they required as per there checklist documents. As you know may files has started either you can wait for few more days .. or check with lawyer whether its really necessary to send the document. you can also send by scanning it. You know v just attached the photocopy of our marriage certificate v forgot to attached the original at that time. then v consulted with an immigration agent then he told no required of attaching original marriage cert. and notarized photocopies will do. this is my opinion n situation which i m telling u.

yeah i heard it is necessary if ur route s via toronto only, as my inlaws just went to canada 3 days ago, n specially we have booked flight with atlst minimum stay of 3-4 hrs at toronto airport. As wenever u going for the first tym they took time for all formalities.
