Sorry for the late reply. It takes approximately 2 -2.5 months to process through most of 1 month's worth of applications. It took NDVO 3 months to process May applications (November to January, because of Christmas.. they were sleeping then). They started processing June applications in January and are still processing them but have also just touched July. They will officially start July's applications 2 weeks from now (Mid-March) until end of April to beginning of May. So I keep 2 months average for each month's applications.

If thats the case then wouldn't it taken us who applied in January 2014 like more then 12 months? Online processing time says 12 months for NDVO...One of my friend just got their visa as well...and she got a response within 7 to 8 months...She has to say that it all depends on the officer really...he guess for mine was about 7-8 months as well...

Yes. It really depends on the visa officer and how straight forward your case is. Someone got their visa in 4 months from Sri Lanka.

If you check the 2013 forum, there are also people waiting since January '13... so it is the luck of the draw or maybe the application was sorted into the earlier pile (who really knows what happens in NDVO).

But this is what I was noticing... so it was my opinion based on my observations. (Plus, in October 2013, I was also telling my husband that July applications would most likely start in March as he was thinking we would hear about our application in January and that is what is happening now).
We will just have to wait and see.

Its normal. There is scheduled maintenance on Saturdays and sometimes goes into Sunday. Sometimes ECAS gets updated as well.

Thank you Desi-Girl, it was working fine after couple of days. Another question I had was, does VO sends any acknowledgement letter for receiving the application or it's just PPR that will come next after Sponsors AOR?
Does VO also sends AOR?

They don't send a letter stating we have your application. The letter asking further documents like RRPF fees and PCC or medicals, or request for your passport is the AOR, because they would not send it to you if they did not get your application package in the first place.

You posted on the February Outland thread as well. You are looking at around 29-35 days for sponsorship approval.

I have a question, i submitted my application beginning of this month, i have not applied for my pcc, so i have submitted everything without it.

When i get PCC, should i send it to Missisaga after my file number is generation(post SA) or should i send it only to NEW Delhi? i was in UK and US before, hence it would be easier just to send it to canada. (somehow not confident about the postal service in india).

You should apply for PCC now as it takes weeks to get the one from USA and then you have to do fingerprinting too. In that time, your application might either get transferred to New Delhi or they will return your application stating that your PCC is missing. Either way, you will know what to do by the time you get your PCCs.

Congratulations on getting married!!
Collect and send everything that shows genuineness of your relationship with your wife. Lots of photos (we sent 50) with explanations at the back about who was in the photos. The guide found online with the forms helps you to fill out the forms. Pay all the fees at the same time in the beginning so it doesn't delay your processing. Also get your medicals and police clearance (PCC) done but have your forms ready. as soon as you get your PCC and medicals, submit them all together.

Does anyone know how NVDO sends PP request? Email or mail?

Also, one of the members here is saying that they will not be asking for passport early in application process. Is that true?
